Guardian of Corruption
Cyra and her companions continued to trudge through this mushy white matter. Here there are the Guardians of Hope, Life, Death, and Corruption. How does one define these elements? How do these elements work? How does corruption influence these elements? Cyra let her thoughts wander...

Does corruption always work by itself? Does it require others to help? Or does it want companions? For the need of corruption... or just as... friends? Cyra stumbled in surprise. Friends?! Companions? Creatures that she like, not because she wants to corrupt them? The idea is absurd.

Yet, the idea seems... familiar... like a memory... did it happen before?

How did it turn out?

She kicked the snow beneath her feet in anger. No! She needs to corrupt minds, not wanting friends and companions. Corruption is her goal, always. Should she let corruption start on this group of creatures around her?

Cyra smiled.

((Quick question for @Faliara. If a guardian of Flora or Nature does not sign up. How will this planet be populated with nature? You don't expect the entire planet to stay just a mudball... Right?

Also. Anso and Ender. This is not a threat or an argument of anything but i am starting to get impatient cx i already have a post for when you two fly away ready...))

"Ok, if that's everyone, then I suppose we'll get going then. I wouldn't really want to waste time much longer," I say after Himinn tells me she's coming with us.

I gesture to the winged Guardian. "Airis, lead the way."

((Terribly sorry for another short post, but since nobody else has anything to post about this, I guess I'll just have to get us off the ground.))

Guardian of Wind

"Okay perfect. Give me just a second"

*Airis heads towards Light*

"Light, when Alouette wakes up tell her I went back to the cave. Take care, buddy"

*He goes back to Endal and Himinn*

"I'm ready. Just jump into my back both of you and hold tight" (Talking to Endal and Remilia).

*Looks at Himinn*

"I believe you can fly by your own right? Just make sure you stay close to me."

"S-so where are we going? Are we heading back to the crater?" I shiver and rub my arms, looking at the rest of the group. "D-do we actually have a plan or are we just going no where?" I say, kicking the snow and watching a flurry of white fly out infront of me.
I blink and look at Hope, not hearing his offer at first.
"S-sorry, uh I think I'll be alright, you keep it."

Guardian of Light & Guardian of Flight
She wakes slowly, hearing muffled conversation, and then feeling a breeze as someone... Airis takes off. She sinks back into a doze, though this time she doesn't dream.
It's a while later when she wakes up for good. "Light?" Alouette rubs her eyes as she sits up, seeing him sitting beside her. "You're still here..?"

When Alouette wakes up he doesn't notice it at first. He's staring into the distance repeating a single word. Over and over. "Lark."
He says it in multiple tones, accents and volumes hoping something else comes to mind. But with little success. This word has been stuck in his head since he awoke on this mudball. What does it mean?
He looks around to find Alouette has woken up. "Ah. You're awake!" He says in an excited tone. 'Why am i so excited to see her again?' He thinks to himself. "Good morn-" he looks at the sky. "Erm. Afternoon? Ugh. Not having the sky really makes it hard to see what time it is..." he looks at her again. "Did you sleep well?"

Alouette laughs a little at his confusion. "As well as I could." She looks around, seeing that now, they're alone. "Everyone else has gone to look for the Guardian of the Aether, right?" She stands and stretches, her wings flaring.

"Yeah. They're looking for him. I decided to stay here with you while you were asleep" He stands up. "If they have the guardian they'll come back here and I'll shoot up a light flare." he stretches his back. Multiple loud knacking noises come from his back in protest.

"Should we go look as well? There's not much of a point in staying put." She says, and looks around. "It's kind of worrying that some of the Guardians we really need are missing..."

The knacking in his back stops as he stops stretching. "Actually... I was planning to track down someone else..." He looks around and then back at Alouette with a serious look. "I'm planning to track down the Guardian of Darkness..."

"What!? Why him?!" Her voice comes out louder than expected and she winces. "He wants to kill you! Do you have a death wish!?" She doesn't want to think about why she's being so protective, but she can't even consider just letting him walk into danger.

"Because someone has to kill him or we'll live in this eternal darkness! Stop being so overprotectve!" he yells at her. His voice is loud and angry. He looks at her for a moment and then he notices his outburst. "S-Sorry I-I didn't mean to yell..."

"S-someone has to worry about you, you reckless idiot..." She rubs her eyes, and her fingers come away wet. "D-damn it..." She takes a step backwards, two steps, then turns away and runs, before vaulting into the air.
She doesn't stop ascending until she's higher than where the clouds would be and she can't see the ground through the darkness.

He runs after her. "Alouette wait!" He tries to grab her leg but fails. He yells at her. "Alouette come back!" After yelling multiple times he sits down on the ground on his knees. Covering his face as a few tears come out of his eyes. "God damnit."

She makes a small section of the air solid, just large enough for her to sit on, and sits, her legs dangling over the invisible edge. She takes the orb of light out of her bag and holds it in both hands, staring into it. "Why are you such an idiot...?" She says softly, blinking back tears. "I just want you to be safe..." It hurts for her to think about what the Guardian of Darkness could do to him if he really tried. "Light... If I don't try to protect you, who will?"

Suddenly an overwhelming feeling of tiredness kicks in. "No. I must stay awake to apologise." he falls down. "Ugh, I'm tired..." he closes his eyes and drifts off...
"It's dark... Alouette?"
He is walking trough a dark snowstorm. Similiar to the last one. "Alouette! Where are you?"
In the distance he hears a scream "Alouette!" he moves towards the sound of the scream...
"Alouette!"
It stays quiet. All Light can hear is the raging blizzard when-
His feet hit something. When he crouches down he sees something horrible.
There's Alouette... She's laying on her back. Her eyes still open. One of her iris' has turned black. There's no pulse. Her wings have been ripped off and lay a few metres from the body.

The guardian of Darkness appears behind the body, laughing, and holding a dark shadowy orb... He lashes out at light when-

Alouette sighs. It's been a few minutes, and she's calmed down a bit. "I can't stay mad at him forever..." She slides off the air and hovers, taking a moment to make it intangible again. She descends quickly and easily, landing lightly. It might take a minute to find Light again... Looking around, she sees a bright spot against the darkness. 'There he is!' She thinks, and starts towards him, trying to think of what to say.
As she gets closer to him, she sees that's he's lying down... Perhaps he's sleeping? His expression is one of anguish, though, and she hesitates.

Light awakes with a short scream. He thrashes around. Looking for Alouette.
He sees her at the edge of the shadows. He runs to her and hugs her immediately. "Y-You're alive..." He starts crying, "Thank god you're alive!" he says. "I'm sorry Alouette... I'm really sorry..."

He screams as he wakes up, and as soon as he stands, he runs towards her. Light almost knocks her over, but she gently brings her hands up, hugging him back. "Wh-what happened? Why wouldn't I be...?" She remembers how she found him. "Was it a nightmare?"

"Y-you were..." He puts in effort trying to stop sobbing. "I-I had a dream that y-you were... D-dead." he hugs her tighter. "I don't want to lose you... I'm sorry for yelling at you... Can you forgive me?"

"Don't be scared.. I don't plan on leaving you for a long time yet." She says, determined. "And yes... I've already forgiven you."

He lets go of her. "Thank you..." he whispers, "I-I think you're right... We shouldn't face the guardian of darkness yet..."

"Like you said, though... We'll have to eventually..." She sighs, and looks at him worriedly. 'What could've shaken him so badly..? Surely not just...' Her eyes widen the slightest bit. 'Unless... Could he...' Her cheeks redden, and she turns away to hide her face. "But we should probably look for the Guardians of Purification and the Aether... The more people we have looking, the better chance we'll find at least one of them."

He slowly raises an eyebrow when she looks the other way with a red face. "Okay. We should. What if we come across the guardian of darkness tough?" In his head he's thinking... 'Why is she... Did i say something?' Well, normally that happens when someone's in-.
Wait.
He looks the other way once he realises his own head has gotten pretty red as well.

"I'm not sure..." Alouette says, trying to think of something. "...We could always just run for it, or signal the others." She tentatively looks back, only to find that he's turned away. The tips of his ears are red. "But we're not going to get anywhere by dithering about like this. We should probably get going."

He looks back at her. His face is still red. "Y-Yeah. Let's go." He looks around. "Still as dark as shit. As always... Let me just..." he snaps his fingers multiple times untill a huge beam shoots up, lighting up the planet just enough so you can see farther away if you squint. "It's not much. But it's all I can do for now." he looks at her again. "How's that small wound under your wing doing?"

"Perfectly fine. I can hardly feel it." She pokes his shoulder. "Like you don't worry about me." She smiles.

"Of course I do... I don't know what else to do if you're not here..." he says, blushing slightly. "But I guess worrying about each other is okay then..."

"I-I guess it is..." She glances off to the side. "Which way should we go, then...? We can't just follow the others and hope they missed something..."

He looks around. "I dunno. The others went that way," He points to where Airies and the rest flew off to. "I guess we can go the other way." he stretches his back once again. "Do we walk or fly?"

"We should probably walk. If we're too high we might miss something or someone." Alouette stares hard in that direction. "I just hope we can find one of them..."

"Let's just try not to lose each other again." he says. He takes her hand. "Let's go then." he slowly starts walking.

"Yeah... That wouldn't be too good." She follows after him, faintly smiling. "I wonder what they'll be like..."

Guardian of Corruption
Ignoring Life's inquiry, Cyra looked around her. The creatures around her included Hope, Death, and Life. Where should she let corruption start? She narrowed her eyes and inspected the three creatures.

Hope, a boyish man she met at the crater. Observant and optimistic, most likely the Guardian of Hope. He is also helpful and confident. Not exactly the easiest to corrupt...

Death, a young man she met at the cave. Cyra's certain that he's the Guardian of Death. Have they met before? Death seemed sure of his abilities. Is messing with Death the best idea? Hmm.

Life, a young girl she met at the crater. She's shy and uncertain. Also, she discovered her abilities recently. Does she doubt her abilities? She's definitely the easiest to corrupt out of these three.

What will the consequences be? Due to Life's weaknesses, the others seemed to care for her. What will happen when she's corrupted? How does corruption influence Life? Cyra brushed more snow off her cloak. Will she lose whatever trust and connection she earned in this group if someone found out? How will they react? Does she want them to hate her?

Why is this happening to her?! Is someone messing with her head? She's the Guardian of Corruption! She's the one that's supposed to mess with people's minds. Frustrated and confused, she stopped in her tracks. Almost immediately, pain shot through her skull.

"No..." she managed to mutter before passing out.

Guardian of Life

I look around at the others and notice Cyra looking deep in thought. I watch her out of my peripheral vision and see her stop for a second, almost immediately muttering "No," and falling to the ground. I gasp and run to where she fell, kicking up snow around me. I go on my knees beside her and brush the disturbed snow off her clothing and face. What do I do? I panic slightly in my mind - I'm still not quite sure how to activate my powers, especially when I don't actually know whats wrong with her. "What just happened?!" I shriek, worry laced into my voice.

~Flashback~

A girl with long coffee brown hair in ringlets bursts through a small group of people in which I can't see their faces clearly. Her eyes are hazel and have the softness of mother's in them. "What happened?" She asks, her voice smooth and sweet like honey. She brushes her hair out of her face and tucks some stray ringlets behind her snow white wolf ears. She presses her hand to the injured person's chest and closes her eyes, a calming look on her face. Beneath her hand a gentle green aura starts to spread it's way across the person and after only a few moments they were encased in the aura. She had a kind smile on her face that put the onlookers at ease - the injured person, a man it seemed, was in capable and reliable hands. They trusted her. She placed a hand on the forehead of the man and sighed in satisfaction. She knew what was wrong and no doubt could fix it.

~Flashback ended~

I blink and my head swirls. I tip slightly -- accidentally putting my hand into the freezing snow, letting out a little yelp of surprise. In that moment, it clicks. My healing abilities, my animal features, my odd nature-like clothing. They're right, I'm Life and I have healing abilities. All at once this rushes at me, clouding my brain for a moment. This entire time - the whole journey felt like a dream that suddenly because oh so real but-- No. I need to focus, shut up brain. I have to make sure Cyra's okay.

The Guardian of Hope

Hope nodded and tied the jacket back on himself. He kicked the snow harder to try to clear the path better for everyone behind him. It reached the ankles of his boots but he didn't mind. The snow wasn't making his feet either cold or wet. It came across his mind that if other certain Guardians do not exist the world may end up being a dark snowy world. It didn't bother him because each world is vastly different from one another with a few repeating facets that could always be counted on. It was only still the beginning of the world though; much could change throughout the history. Hope wanted to break the silence and these inner thoughts may have generated conversation. As he turned around he saw Cyra fall into the deep snow.

The little girl ran over to Cyra shrieking out in fear. Hope reached over with his right hand to his left pocket but found nothing in his pocket. He was distracted for a moment wondering why he did such an automatic response and wondered if he was expecting something to be there in his left pocket. He shook the interruption away and ran over to Cyra and ζωή. Whatever was wrong with the hooded girl, he knew that the Guardian of Life could take care of her. He kneeled down and met with ζωή's eyes, "You know what to do and you can."

((This sounds...very familiar...in that...I did the exact same thing to exorcise Pyro <3 ))
***
It seemed like weeks in the eternal night, but Ross had only been walking for about ninety minutes. A beam of light shot out of the sky, and he stopped to observe it from a distance before getting any closer. It seemed to be coming from the location he left the other Guardians. It must be Light, he thought, he thought, but why didn't he do it earlier?

The beam faded away, but it left the planet slightly brighter than when it came to be. Ross arrived at the former gathering only to find that everyone had gone. Everyone but Pyro and, a short way away, Fauna. He was shocked to find everyone gone initially, but his shock turned into disappointment and guilt when he remembered what he had done to Himinn.

Ross beckoned for Pyro to follow as he walked by to see Fauna. "So, what are you doing all the way over here? The group was over there."
