IC Guardians of the Elements

Ross was standing by, waiting for his call to action when a sudden darkness took over. He heard screams and voices, along them, Cyra's. For a mere moment, there was light, but after it was gone everything seemed darker than before.

His heart pounding and his body trembling, Ross pulled out his orb. If there was any time to channel Pyro's element it was now. He struggled for a few seconds, he didn't know the first thing about controlling fire, but then why did he have it if he couldn't use it? In a desperate effort, he intertwined fire with water, just like it was in the orb. The water gave him increased control over the flames in it. He slowly decreased the amount of water in the mixture, making the flames brighter and hotter. There was still a lot of water in the mix, but now he could see the scene around him.

He saw Cyra standing with Light at her feet. Darkness was probably the higher threat, but Cyra had already killed two, possibly now three of his friends! He lunged forward and his trident struck the malicious Guardian square in the shoulder.

Guardian of Light
The guardian awakes. Something feels... Odd. Like this feeling that he wants to see someone squirm in pain... Where is it coming from? He looks around, still laying around. Everything's still dark. He must've not passed out that long. He sees a person with a trident running his way... Is he trying to kill him? He just notices the hooded guardian standing to his left. "Oh." he grunts in annoyance. He sees the man strike the hooded person with his trident. In the split second his foot is above him he reaches out. Grabs it and twists it in mid-air before standing up and pushing the water guardian aside "Calm the fuck down" he says as he glances at the water guardian he just threw down. His left eye has turned black. With nothing more than a red ring in the middle of it. Weird...

"What's going on? I can barely see a thing."

*He hears Alouette's screams*

"Alouette!! I'm coming!!"

*Airis can't see a bit but Alouette's screams are the only thing guiding him. He then reaches someone. He starts touching it. It feels like... an arm. He then feels her wings.*

"Sister! I'm here. We need to get out of here. Now. Jump into my back and I'll fly. I don't want to lose you in this darkness."

*Alouette jumps to Airi's back. He then spread his wings and fly as fast as he can. He can't see one bit, he doesn't even know where he's going. All he knows is he needs to protect his sister*

[Catcocomics]

All though initially walking, Catcocomics runs towards the crater, guided mostly by residual star energy left over from the impact. Suddenly, the sky is completely blocked out by the darkness, annihilating all spectral light vision, and many voices are soon heard.
"Well, I guess this means I have no choice but to reach the stars as quickly as I can... to leave this atmosphere."
Catcocomics then notices a bright flame penetrate the darkness, and watches as Airis flies off with Alouette. The nature of the fire seems familiar to Catcocomics, and he is also mildly surprised to see the guardian of water casting it from a strange orb.
"Can it be? It looks as though Ross has produced a raw form of Frost Fire... but no time to lose. Airis, wait! I need you to bring me as far from this planet as you can! I may be able to regain my full power when I'm exposed to direct star light!"

*Airis hears Frost Phoenix yelling at him*

"He's asking for help. Wasn't he able to fly...? Or did something happened to him that is not letting him?"

*He just keeps flying*

"I can't go back and risk Alouette getting hurt... but at the same time this is not me. I can't just leave someone behind."

*While struggling on what he should do, Airis finally turns around heading towards Frost. He's being guided by his voice*

*Finally he gets there*

"Frost, listen to me. We don't have time, jump into my back! Now!! We need to get out of here!"

*Frost quickly jumps into Airi's back. He then spreads his wings once again and flies away*

*After several minutes flying, Airis decided to talk*

"It's still very hard to see. Where should we go?"

After getting on Airis' back, Catcocomics is asked of his intended destination
"Try to get me past that barrier of darkness. Hopefully, it's just shadow and we'll be able to pass through it. Once on the other side, I should be able to fly again. If by random chance you forget which way is away from the planet, use it's gravity to orient yourself."

((Yeah, my character might be a bit OP at this point, but don't the powers of all the guardians grow with time?
Given the long, guaranteed life span of a phoenix, they get their most useful powers at about 60, and only their intelligence and wisdom will grow afterwards.))

((EDIT: Also, you did not mention that, you never mentioned that. Never mind, just- don't cause another snowstorm or anything like that. The star power will allow you to fly and such, but it's not going to refill the ice bar.))

Suddenly, everything went dark. Skri'ik was unsure what to make of this, but stopped. He heard ruffling. That would probably be Cyra making her escape. Right under his nose.
Skri'ik was angry for the first time since awakening in this world. Nobody had dared to do that before. This was out of order. But the most painful thing was that he knew there was nothing he could do in this absolute darkness.
He heard Liro's voice, grinned and shouted back. "I can hear you, sure. You were probably right. I'm sorry. I should've let you gut her when we had the chance. On the bright side, we know who's definitely not on our side anymore. Should we wait this unnatural darkness out, or continue walking to the crater? Either way, we need to warn other guardians of this threat."
