The trident dropped to the ground with a clang.
((Erm no I never let go of it thanks))
he roughly throws her aside ontop of the water guardian.
((THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I WRITE VERY LONG THINGS))
Ross feels his weapon connect with Cyra's shoulder, but he is brought to the ground as Light grabs his leg.
He's alive at least....OH GOD WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIS EYE?! Through the shock, he hears Airis and Alouette flee, and a vaguely familiar voice calls out to them....The Phoenix?
Cowards. A fight starts and they just bloody run off. Ross rolls away a few feet, making sure to keep a tight grip on his orb, which is still outputting a mixture of fire and water, it was starting to burn him, but he wasn't about to let it go. He was about to run when Light wrapped his hands around Cyra's neck and they spoke. Light may have attacked him, but he obviously had no qualms with killing Cyra either.
Before either of them could attack him again, he flung flames in their direction, hoping to at least disorient them. He turned before he saw the flames connect, for all he knew, they could have fizzled out the second they left his hand. He was sprinting into the crater before he was even aware of what else was happening around him.
The water was a welcome force, and as Ross became part of the water, his bruises healed. He thought that since he had spoken to Poseidon once via the orb, he could do it again. However, as he spoke to the orb, all traces of blue in the orb vanished. The orb gave off immense heat and light, and Ross could practically feel himself boiling along with the water around him. He was surrounded by tiny bubbles, and as they rapidly floated to the surface, they carried Ross with them. He was about ten feet from the bank when he reached the surface, and had practically snapped back into Guardian form the moment he left the water.
The orb was slowly returning to its original color, but for the moment it still shone brilliantly, shedding light on the entire scene. Light was choking Cyra out, Zwn and Hope were sitting on the ground in shock, and Kysa's body was lying limply near Remillia. A few feet from the fragile bodies of the two Guardians, stood another humanoid, though with no distinguishable features. It seemed simply to be a silhouette.
Enraged, Ross threw himself at the silhouette, knowing that this had to be the source of the darkness.
