Guardian of Corruption

"You don't remember anything about me? Or your past? The war? The demon?" Cyra asked, wondering if she should bring her memories back. Should she seek the pathetic and weak Guardian of Purification to cure Remilia of her magic taint? "Well uh, do you have anything in mind to search for?"

Guardian of Light, Flight and Wind
The boy looks around. The pain has mostly stopped. The guardian sits up and looks around for Alouette

"I'm glad you're okay, Airis." She smiles, but then her expression turns serious. "There was a fight... Light dragged me over here so I wouldn't get hurt."

"Light...? Wasn't he the one trying to kill us when we were flying?"

"Yes... But it wasn't his fault, really. Corruption got her hands on him." she says, hoping that he'll be as forgiving.

The boy looks around before seeing two winged guardians. He stands up as a stinging headache knocks him back down

"Corruption. Hmm. Who's fault it is that there's such thing going on in this planet? Is it that Cyra girl?"

"...I think so. She was trying to kill some others... I don't know exactly who they were, except for Zwn and Light." She frowns, wondering who the others in that group were.

"Airis..." he mumbles to himself at the sight of the second guardian. Will he still...? Nah. Alouette must've told him. He puts his hand to his head but immediately pulls back and produces an agonizing scream.

A scream grabs Airis's attention. "I know that voice, that's Light" He then pauses for a second and thinks about what he's about to say "Ugh, I think we need to help him"

She nods quickly. "I don't know what happened, exactly... It was going too fast."

"Let's go, Alouette. Just remember, it's still hard for me to trust Light. It might not be his fault but just be careful around him. He's like a ticking bomb that can explode at any moment."

"I know..." Unconsciously, she rubs her nose, and starts forward.

As he boy shakes his hands in agony, not being able to touch his face to stop the pain he looks up as he sees the two approaching

Both of them finally get where Light is. "Hey Light" He says in a serious tone. Airis wanted to throw himself at him and beat him up for putting his sister in danger, but he controlled himself.

"Light, what happened?" She crouches down to look at him, worried by the burn marks on the side of his head.

"I-I got burnt by that twat." he says, almost reaching for it again but pulling back for the last time "More importantly, are you okay?" he asks as he quickly geabs her arm and looks around for any wounds

"She's fine, Light." He looks at him straight into his eyes. "No thanks to you."

"I'm fine, I'll be fine... I wasn't really here, remember?" She says.

He gives airis a look, both of mild annoyance and confusion as he looks at Alouette again "Maybe you got wounded when I pulled you away or something. I'm just glad you're fine"

"Airis, calm down. I know what he did, but it wasn't his fault." She gives him a look, telling him to drop it. "No, I think the only one that got hurt was you..."

Airis tried to calm himself up. "Light, I'm sorry, it's just... hard to trust someone here. Specially after they have tried to hurt you." He then thinks about something. "Can the Guardian of Life maybe help you with your burns?"

He looks at his lover "I-I'm fine, really." he hears the other winged guardian apologise and mention the guardian of life "Don't be sorry. I can see what you mean. And i don't really know where the guardian of life went off to..."

"Yes, she should be able to help... She did a good job healing m... Him last time he got hurt." She glances up at Airis, hoping he didn't notice the slip.

"We need to look for her then. I need her healing abilities as well, my right wing is still not fully recovered. Since you know... you hit me with your light attacks. No one knows where she is?"

"Didn't really pay attention to her..." he says as he stands up.

"Are you able to walk, Light?"

As soon as he stands up another stabbing headache occurs as he sees a twisted image in front of him... of Alouette, badly wounded as Light kicks her repeatedly, laughing manically. He spaces out for a second "Y-Yeah..."

"Let's go find her... Do you know where she went at all?"

"None of us know, I believe. Alouette, are you able to fly?"

"Not a clue..." he says as he looks at Alouette. Still smiling and glowing as ever. Even trough what she's just been trough.

"Yep!" She smiles, covering up her doubts as if they don't exist. "Which way should we go?"

"I don't know" He then looks at Light. "Light, I can carry you on my back." Airis didn't wanted Light going with Alouette.

He crosses his arms and thinks "Airis... This isn't going to work..." he looks at him "If you're going to keep us apart like that... We'll never recover from this..."

She makes a face, but doesn't protest. "That way?" she asks, gesturing past Light.

"I'm not keeping you both apart. I'm just not letting my sister carry all your weight till we find Life. She's going to get tired. So yes, you're coming with me."

He sighs as he looks at Alouette. Should he protest? He knows he's just lying to keep them apart. He must've seen Alouette's amazig strength. Eventuallt he sighs "Fine..." as he climbs on Airis' back

Airis feels Light's weight when he jumps into his back. "Okay, we're ready to go. Let's go, Alouette" Airis then spread his wings and starts flying next to his sister.

Alouette takes to the air again, as easily as if nothing had ever happened to her. She smiles, satisfied. 'I'll definitely have to thank Life again when we find her...' She thinks, once again at ease.

Liro runs back over the scorched earth to where Light was last seen. He sees Light on the back of a winged guardian and another winged guardian flying with him. Liro waved at them as they fly away. Guess I'll just have to go back to Skri'ik then. Liro thought to himself. Liro jogged back to Skri'ik. "I just saw Light leaving with two winged guardians, probably Airis and Alouette. He should be fine with them. "

Interesting. More knowledge to share - and also people to warn about the renegades Cyra and Remilia. "What should we do about them?"

((I suppose we could make it so that too much backlash got stored in fauna's head and thus resulting in too much EVE making her head explode in a gory fashion making her brain come to an abrupt stop. Or that all EVE got removed from her mind...))
