Himinn was shocked. One moment, it was completely fine, and the next...
The cave was collapsing.
And they were still inside.
Adrenaline pumped through her veins as she ran, just a little ahead of Endal and Fauna. She could see the entrance. They could make it...

A piercing scream of pain halted her in her tracks.
She turned around.
Fauna was crushed under a boulder, it hitting dead center.
Himinn felt sick.
Fauna couldn't survive that.
Bile rose up her throat. As she tried to hold it in, Endal grabbed her wrist and ran.
"We can mourn him later. Let's go!"
Himinn moved her feet, running with him as the cave started to fall in.
She knew that they weren't going to reach in time. Fauna's death had delayed them just a second too long. Somehow, she had the feeling that Endal could teleport himself out of here without any fancy spells or incantation, but that would mean leaving her behind and she knew, subconsciously, that he wasn't going to do that no matter what.
So, knowing that death was just over the horizon, she ran with him as fast as she could.
Then abruptly, she found herself being swung forward.
Himinn's eyes widened.
'What-'
Her chocolate brown eyes met Endal's purple for just a second.
And then the moment was gone as she found herself tumbling on the ground, just outside the cave.

'Wha-'
She turned her body over, her head rising up to look behind her-

*Airis heart stops when he hears his sister's desperate scream asking for help. He immediately turn around to see her falling towards the ground*
"Light! Hold on tight!"
*He starts to fly as fast as he can but he realizes he won't catch her in time*
*In a matter of seconds he remembered he's the Wind Guardian. He then quickly started to move one of his hands in a small circle-like form. A small tornado started to form right below where Alouette was going to fall into*
"Come on, Airis. This needs to work." -He said to himself.
*The tornado began to take a much better form*
*Alouette then landed gently on top of the Tornado. She was floating. No fall damage was caused*
*Airis then flew directly towards Alouette. He landed on the ground. Light got off his back.*
*He then stopped the torando and she fell directly into Airis's arms*
"Alouette, what happened?"

Feeling as if she's in slow motion, she plunges through the air--someone who'd never flown could compare it to flying, but it isn't at all similar.
And just before Alouette closes her eyes, she sees Airis turn and dive after her.
She's frozen in a moment of weightless oblivion, but then suddenly, she can't hear the air rushing around her anymore. She wonders for a moment if she's dead, but her head still aches, as does her wing, and she quickly dismisses the thought. She can feel that she's still suspended in midair, and reluctantly, she opens her eyes. She sees the same sky she had before, though now, it lacks her brother's pale figure.
There's no warning before she's falling again, but this time it's only a moment before something- someone- catches her.
"Alouette, what happened?"
Airis. She'd fallen into Airis's arms...
"I..."
Again, she brings her hands to her head, as if that will make the pain stop.
"I don't..."
The dark sky seems to spin above her, her vision blurring, speckled with bright light.
"Don't know..."
And then everything fades to black.

Liro looked around at the others, Ross was still covered in burn wounds but the rest were fine. "I'll come with, you guys will be okay right?" He asked to the other three. He didn't really trust any of them fully yet and he hoped to travel alone with Skri'ik.
Ross looked up to see Liro and Skri'ik talking away. They said something about finding something, he wasn't paying attention.
He knew one thing, though. The aspect of fire wasn't too fond of him. And the feeling was mutual. Ross wanted to cut all ties with the aspect, but that was his only tie to Pyro. Maybe it was time to let go.
"I'll be ok.". Ross turned to Takot and Zwn. " What about you guys? And what will we do?"[/Spoiler]

She wakes to the sound of music playing.
Looking around, she finds that she's standing on top of a hill, right outside a brick building. It's faintly familiar, but she's not sure where- or when- she'd seen it...
Several feet away, in the direction opposite the source of the music, there's a low brick wall. Someone's sitting there, their back turned.
Impulsively, she walks over and sits beside him.
They could almost be twins. Though his short hair is far darker, not to mention thicker, they have the same slight build, and as he looks at her, she sees that his features are as delicate as her own.
"Do you know who I am?"
A moment passes in silence, and then she realizes that he'd spoken.
"I think I do."
"Then who am I?"
She pauses for a moment, the only sound the band playing far away.
"You're the element of Flight, aren't you?"
He shakes his head. "Not quite. I'm one of the oldest forms the element takes, but I'm not the element itself." He seems to hesitate. "I'm also one of the most experienced... Jonah and I have gone through pretty much any issue you can think of, and it's likely one of us will help you when you're having problems."
"Well... In that case, thank you." Alouette smiles, but then she remembers: "Did you make me pass out? Didn't you know I was flying?"
He looks away guiltily. "I'm sorry. We haven't had to do this very many times, so I'm not good at it at all."
She sighs. "What did you need to tell me, anyway? I'm sure I'm worrying Airis."
"Take this." He reaches over, a necklace dangling from his hand, and clasps it around her neck. "The current form always wears it. It's sort of lucky for us." He pauses for a moment, then continues, "You'll get to remembering more soon, I'm sure. More about your power, and about the rest of us."
"Is that it?"She looks at him skeptically.
"No, not quite." He looks at her seriously. "You can't always let your feelings for that Light dictate your actions. You have to do what's best for others and the new world, no matter what you want."
He quickly hushes her as she starts to protest.
"I'm not saying you can't feel it; I'm only saying that you can't let it control you."
She winces, nodding. "I get it... I'll try."
"Good."
He stands up, and she follows suit.
"And above all..."
He hugs her, gentle and caring.
"Take care of yourself."
As he releases her, his silvery eyes meet hers and he places a hand on her forehead.
"Now, you can sleep."
