Endal opened his eyes. A ray of light found it's way through and Endal managed to make out the sky.

So the teleportation worked. I was wondering if I had enough energy left in me for that.

Where the hell am I? The Guardian turned his head on the hard ground of the wasteland. A familiar figure found his way into Endal's view. "Airis...?" He couldn't find the strength to whisper anything else. It seemed like the half naked, cliché-spouting Guardian of Wind had heard him, though, since he turned his head and opened his mouth in a wide smile. "Endal! You're awake!"

Airis rushed to Endal and knelt down beside him. "Are you okay now? I mean, you're not a ghost or anything any more, right?"

"Ghost...?" The wizard was confused for a moment, but then discarded it, since there was something more important he needed to ask. "Himinn... Have you seen her... Is she alright...?" He had tossed her out of the cave with all his strength when the cave collapsed, but since he teleported away right after that, he didn't know if it had been enough.

Ross kept on prodding, hoping to lure Fear into surfacing. "Oh sure, he's not evil... He just wants to fuck shit up. I mean, there's a clear difference between Fear and the clearly evil Darkness. I mean, Darkness has no concrete appearance, Fear's a shadow. SO different. Darkness' goal is to ruin everyone's day. Fear's goal is to fuck shit up. CLEARLY not the same." After he had finished his speech, he wasn't sure he'd ever be able to be that sarcastic again. Doing so also made him pretty uncomfortable, reminding him of Cyra.

"... B-But he said he was going to go with me while I search for Endal..." Himinn stuttered.

"That's the same reason Fear gave when he said he'll come with me," stated Himinn, staring bewilderedly at the aged-down version of Fear. "And... I didn't actually think about where to start looking. I was thinking along the lines of going to a random direction and hope for the best."

Zwn sighed and traced more patterns in the sandy red dirt after recovering from her breakdown. She rested her elbow on her knee and put her head on her hand, humming. "What do you think the others are doing?" She asked timidly, sitting up straight and dusting the leafy pattern she'd drawn away, "We've been here for days, weeks maybe and haven't seen another soul.." Besides the creepy alternate version of Light still unconscious over there, she thought, glancing cautiously at the body.

(( But no one has come to Light and Zwn, even though Alouette and Airis went through the portal right next to us, and we're doing nothing ;n; ))

Endal blinked in confusion, the blank expression clearly showing the lack of understanding. "...You haven't seen her in a while...?"

Another figure stepped into Endal field of vision. A dark, hooded man with a scythe.

Death.

Memories rushed in and the revived Guardian of Magic felt his head splitting in two. He had been in the Void as a ghost... Damnit. Looks like I died after all. But if he had died... then how long had he been dead? Airis said it'd been a while since he last saw Himinn, so then it must be at least a few days since they were in the cave...

"Airis, how long has it been since I sealed the portal? Have you seen Himinn at all after that?"

((Alright! Pack it in! The [GotE] IRC convo formatter has been finished! Testing will begin tomorrow. For now though:
Average time spent on formatting 300 lines MANUALLY (5 participants):
5 minutes removing timestamps and OOC.
3-4 minutes colouring all of it in their respective colours.

Total time manually: 9 minutes.

Average time spent on formatting 300 lines with my program (5 participants):
1 second choosing the participant number.
10-30 seconds entering names.
10-30 seconds entering colours.
10 seconds choosing name border style
15 seconds choosing time border style
0,15-3 seconds formatting logs.

Total time with program: 36,15 - 90 seconds.

Time to compose a readme and the setup file.))

She wakes to the sound of music playing.
Looking around, she finds that she's standing on top of a hill, right outside a brick building. It's faintly familiar, but she's not sure where- or when- she'd seen it...
Several feet away, in the direction opposite the source of the music, there's a low brick wall. Someone's sitting there, their back turned.
Impulsively, she walks over and sits beside him.
They could almost be twins. Though his short hair is far darker, not to mention thicker, they have the same slight build, and as he looks at her, she sees that his features are as delicate as her own.
"Do you know who I am?"
A moment passes in silence, and then she realizes that he'd spoken.
"I think I do."
"Then who am I?"
She pauses for a moment, the only sound the band playing far away.
"You're the element of Flight, aren't you?"
He shakes his head. "Not quite. I'm one of the oldest forms the element takes, but I'm not the element itself." He seems to hesitate. "I'm also one of the most experienced... Jonah and I have gone through pretty much any issue you can think of, and it's likely one of us will help you when you're having problems."
"Well... In that case, thank you." Alouette smiles, but then she remembers: "Did you make me pass out? Didn't you know I was flying?"
He looks away guiltily. "I'm sorry. We haven't had to do this very many times, so I'm not good at it at all."
She sighs. "What did you need to tell me, anyway? I'm sure I'm worrying Airis."
"Take this." He reaches over, a necklace dangling from his hand, and clasps it around her neck. "The current form always wears it. It's sort of lucky for us." He pauses for a moment, then continues, "You'll get to remembering more soon, I'm sure. More about your power, and about the rest of us."
"Is that it?"She looks at him skeptically.
"No, not quite." He looks at her seriously. "You can't always let your feelings for that Light dictate your actions. You have to do what's best for others and the new world, no matter what you want."
He quickly hushes her as she starts to protest.
"I'm not saying you can't feel it; I'm only saying that you can't let it control you."
She winces, nodding. "I get it... I'll try."
"Good."
He stands up, and she follows suit.
"And above all..."
He hugs her, gentle and caring.
"Take care of yourself."
As he releases her, his silvery eyes meet hers and he places a hand on her forehead.
"Now, you can sleep."
