She buries her face in his shoulder, half-laughing, half-crying as she wraps her arms around him. "I missed you, I missed you so much..."
But then she pulls back to study his face, and sees the sign that he's becoming unstable, and fast: while one of his eyes is its normal deep blue, the other is fading back to its corrupted state, black sclera, red iris.
"L-Light," her voice shakes, but she hopes he'll just pass it off as weakness from her wound. "Can you put me down for a moment? I have to go ask Endal something..."

"I missed you too, Lark..." he says, sighingn in happiness. However, for some reason the urge to move his hands to her neck is present. Why? The itching in his hands become slightly more intense, the feeling that he has to close them around a neck and push... One of his hands slowly moves upwards...

His hands stop for a split second, as he takes in her voice. Although it still sounds as heartwarmingly cute as always, the actual context it is supposed to deliver come across as mere garbled sounds. His hands start moving upwards again, swiftly closing around her neck...

Star light fell upon his backs. Apparently, contact with his stone body sends him back to his home world... but, why was he still two canines? He didn't know exactly why, but something about being out of the star light just seemed... unappealing.
Catcocomics then noticed that there were two guardians nearby, one missing his real arm, one with a scythe... who seemed vaguely familiar.
He knew that his appearance had likely startled the nearby guardians, but Catcocomics could not think of anything he could do with either of his bodies that wouldn't give the guardians further reason to mistrust him.

Skri'ik, walking aimlessly around while musing, considering what to do, suddenly sensed a disturbance nearby one of the clouds. He quickly used his cloud transportation network to go to the area, where he immediately noticed a golem.
He grinned. What a useful weapon to use! No matter the consequences, this could be useful against the infidels. He had been looking for a way to deal with them and the answer had presented itself to him. He quickly used clouds to transport it along with himself to the area where the group had last been seen.
It took a matter of minutes. Skri'ik strained his powers quickly. Time could not afford to be wasted; they could be gone at any moment. He constantly looked down. At first, there was no sight of them. But after travelling far enough, he finally reached them. They had survived the impact and were recuperating. They looked... happy. Skri'ik frowned. Such disruption they caused! They would pay.
He prepared, and released his hold on the golem directly above the group. It accelerated downwards, preparing for impact with the people below.

((if none of them are paying attention, they'll probably all just die from the impact. But if there's one thing I've learned from toontown, it's that big heavy things falling from the sky don't hit that often.))

Silently, she draws a quick breath--she was somewhat expecting it, and so keeps her cool. Thanking any higher powers out there for her own powers, she lets go of him and starts to pry at his hands, drawing one foot back to kick his knee.* She doesn't say anything, however, afraid to give him a chance to tighten his already unsettlingly secure grip. 'Airis...this might be a good time...' she thinks, as her foot connects with his leg, and she collapses onto her knees, supported by a bed of air. Though she's weak and shaking already, she swallows against her panic, because she knows that the two males just feet away aren't going to let this stand.

Catcocomics is confused by the initial reaction of one of the guardian.
attempting to respond, Catcocomics is only able to get out a "woof!" (wolf only), and feels kind of silly for even trying.
Never the less, he walks up to the guardian (wolf and fox) and then sits, waiting for further response to his presence.
