"Okay, good." Endal drew a sharp breath and stood up straight. "Keep it busy while I cast the spell on it to send it back to the Void. And don't let it harm you directly, it will suck your powers right out of you if it manages any contact with you." With these words, Endal had recovered most of his stamina and started running in a circle around the demon while Ross blew once punch after the other against the beast. After about ten steps Endal stopped to mutter a few words and a glowing heptagram appeared after he was done. He repeated this about every twenty steps or so, but after the fourth star, the demon took notice. "Ross...? Keep him under control, I'm about half done here!"
A violet flame appeared at the feet of the beast and with every ounce of wrath in it, the demon called forth its minions. About two thirds of them went for Ross, but the others, as well as the demon itself, turned themselves towards the running wizard, who was now done with the fifth heptagram. The minions, faster than the big bad itself, ran towards Endal, who struck them down with his staff as they came. Endal had almost made it to the position of the seventh and final heptagram, when magic flames surrounded him, trapping the Magic Guardian in one spot. The pause in motion was brief as Endal quickly extinguished the flames using raw magic energy, but it was all the demon needed. The giant sword slashed through the air and stopped only inches away from Endal's quickly formed shield, which faded in a matter of moments under the brute force.
Endal quickly leaped away from the demon. "ROSS! HIT IT WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT AND PUSH IT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE RITUAL CIRCLE!"
The Guardians of Magic and Water unleashed a horrible surge of energy against the demon, splashing water everywhere and pushing the demon back to its original position. Endal then swiftly ran to position and muttered the final words of the ritual, before the seven heptagrams bursted into light, trapping the demon within the circle and sending it back into the Void.
The wizard was exhausted. Only so little of his energy still remained, and he'd used not only his own, but the planet's as well. This fight had turned from a small skirmish between Airis, Endal and Light into a full-blown battle between four Guardians and a demon. It was as if the reunion of the two lovers had occured not a mere hour, but days or weeks ago.
Two orbs of light hit Endal in the back of his head and promptly sent him flying in the dirt. The teenager scrambled back to his two feet and pointed his staff towards Light. The look in the wizard's eyes spelled doom for anyone dumb enough to get in his way; they were starting to look as if they were hollow, bottomless pits of deep, deep purple. Drawing huge amounts of energy from the planet, the Magic Guardian blasted a massive wave against Light, right before ripping another gigantic lump of terrain from the ground and launching it at the corrupt Guardian. The chunk of stone flew in from Light's side, sweeping the Guardian away and then crashing itself into the golem that was at the moment grinding the Guardian of Clouds out from ice, using the wind sphere as a grinding belt.
The battle was over, as the demon was banished and Light, Barry and Skri'ik were lying on the ground next to the wind sphere, partly buried under the dirt. Endal's step faltered, however, and the Guardian of Magic fell into darkness...

((I hope you're all okay with this, I seriously do. What happened to Endal was that he used way too much of his magic energy in the battle and now has to recover for a few days. Same with his physical body, since the toll that using the planet's magical force took on Endal was pretty rough.))
