Guardian of Wind

*Airis stood there, without moving one bit. Watching the newcomer as he finally wakes up. Listening how the boy asked if someone had something he could use to cover his naked self. How he starts walking towards Zwn, by kneeling in front of her and introducing himself*

"Ark"-Airis said the name inside his head. "There's something about him. Why do I feel this uneasiness inside me? Why is it I feel as if I can't put my trust on that boy."

*Airis just kept thinking and thinking about it*

"I'll most certainly keep my eye on him. But for now, I'll act natural"​

The situation seemed to be resolving, and Ark was walking away towards Zwn anyway. Ross walked away.

Caithe used her powers in conjunction with some of Ross' in order to create towering trees, and a variety of life, but it wouldn't last long without sustenance. It was his turn. Ross created a river flowing through the jungle, as well as various springs spread around. After he was done, he was quite tired, and so decided he'd relax in one of the springs. He heated the water to the point where it was basically a hot tub, and dozed off.

The small girl jumps back, squeaking, before spreading her fingers to look between them at the half naked boy peering at her. She flushes red again, recognising the newcomer as the one that fell from the sky earlier. She whines quietly, pulling her curls over her face to hide it. "U-uh y-you're awake." She stutters, moving her hair over her eyes bashfully. Slowly, she lets her hair drop and she fidgets with her hands infront if her, staring down at them and only glancing at the boy once in a while. She inspects the boy silently for a moment, noticing his white irises that were eerily bright in stark comparison to his dark, sort of messy hair.
"I-I'm Zwn," she says, bowing her head slightly with a shy smile, "I-I don't know how you're g-going to get cloth-thes, uh, I'm pretty sure we all sort of came with th-them."
She gestures to the guardians behind her, her hand shaking a little. She runs a hand across her red face, offering another embarrassed smile and brushing a strand of coffee brown hair from her face.

I let out a bit of an overdramatic sigh. "Well, that sucks." I'll definitely need to fix that soon, I think to myself.

I uncross my arms, put my hand on my knee and begin to stand up. However, I hear another squeak from Zwn and see that she's beginning to shuffle backward, so I just stretch out my arm instead for a handshake.

"Zwn. It's a really nice name. Nice to meet you." I smile and Zwn takes my hand shakily and moves it up and down before quickly retracting her hand again. There's really no use sitting down now, so I stand up and smile one last time before I turn around to leave. I need to ask the others what's going on. However, I feel a lingering presence behind me. Zwn is staring intensely at my back. I look over my shoulder and ask, "What's wrong?"

((For most with aspects that don't directly impact things, I just assume that the fact they they exist allows their element to simply run its own course. Take for example Takot. The fact that he exists means things can be afraid. The fact that Alouette exists means that flight is possible. And so on.))

The white tailed girl stretches out her hand briefly before retracting it, a concerned frown on her face. The boy turns his head, questioning her.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"O-oh!" She jumped, shaking her head to snap out of her stare, "you-u have... sc-scars on your b-back," she says softly, still nervous.

"Oh, that's just–" I stop in my tracks. "Wait, scars? I do?" I try to look over my shoulder and peer at my back. Idiot, you can't do that, I think. I reach around and feel for my back and trace not one, but two lines of excessively smooth and indented skin along my shoulder blades. "Um... I'm not really sure how those got there..." The Guardians that talked to me originally (wait, Zwn must be a Guardian too) look over and see the scars too, distrust growing on their faces. I take a couple steps back and look at Zwn and all of them at the same time, beginning to sweat. "Umm... I really don't know... I don't have memory of much things..." They continue to stare me down and I shrink up. "Please believe me..."

She shivers, drawing her wings in closer.
But seeing him practically shrink, looking as if he feels about six inches tall even though he's so much taller than she is, her demeanor softens with concern. "Are you alright?"

I see Alouette's lips move, but I can't hear anything. Their stares continue to break me down unrelentingly. "Please..." My voice shakes and gets louder. I press my hands to my temples. Not again, not again, not like that time. "Please believe me! I really don't know what these scars are! I swear! I didn't do it! I didn–" I stop immediately, eyes widening to the size of baseballs. What was I going to say? What didn't I do?

"Didn't do... what?" Alouette sways slightly where she stands, indecisive on whether to move forward or back. "Did you hear me?" She clasps her hands in front of her, growing increasingly nervous. 'He looks terrified... What happened to him..?'
Hesitantly, afraid she'll scare him further, she takes a step towards him. "What's wrong?"

I notice Alouette taking a step towards me and I snap out of my panic attack. Whatever I was seeing fades away into nothingness. Shaking my head, I remove my hands which were clasping my scalp, deeply entangled in my hair and look up. Everyone was looking at me oddly.

"Uh... Sorry about that, I, uh... I was remembering something, but it's gone now." My voice rises and falls. "But it really is true! I really don't remember anything... I'm sorry..." I'm afraid that they are going to interrogate me further, but everyone seems to disregard it and move on with their business. I sigh with relief, now only with Zwn and Alouette, who still seem to look concerned. Out of the corner of my eye, though, I watch a Guardian with white wings continue to linger on my back, looking at me distrustfully. He continues to do so for another 10 seconds before looking away again.

Ross opens his eyes, and everything is a very dark blue, darker than it had been before. He swam around. Up, mostly. Looking for anywhere where the water wasn't so dark. It was like he was trapped at the bottom of the abyss. Like he could move freely, but the darkness would follow. Ross could not see Poseidon, but felt his imperial presence. "My Guardian, I am happy that you are working to finally develop this planet into something livable...But...Look around you. You're using excessive amounts of energy." Poseidon sounded torn, as if he didn't know what to feel. "As you know, the water you bring onto the planets you form comes from this realm. It will replenish over time....If it is allowed time. If it is not, it's power weakens, and it becomes less constant. You'd compare it to the corruption felt when any of the other Guardians use too much power. But they draw from their own power. You draw from here. You're polluting this realm." Poseidon had run out of this to say. He could only hope Ross would understand.

Ross' orb appeared in front of him. Unlike the water of the realm, it was the deep, clean blue it had always been. Ross takes the orb in one hand, but is unsure of what to do with it. He floats there in stasis for what seems like eternity. Despite his closed eyes, he can feel the darkness subsiding. He could feel the pressure decrease, as if he was rising. His eyes snap open and he's once again corporeal. Back in the jungle. His orb was in his hand, but it was different. Darker. It had absorbed the pollution like a sponge. Ross could only hope that this wouldn't affect his powers much, but to be safe, he decided to avoid using them for a while.

((Turned out to be sooner rather than later. Ross hadn't slept for a while, and I missed writing his dream sequences ^-^ ))

((Think of it as a double-edged sword. His powers are unlimited in that he can use as much power as he wants at any given time without himself suffering from corruption/magic taint. He is very limited in that the ocean realm/his orb suffer the corruption for him, and suffer more negative affects than he would. Basically, if he was to use large amounts of power on a regular basis, it would result in the ocean realm becoming polluted, Ross being compelled to sleep more often to absorb the corruption into his own orb, and once the orb takes so much corruption, it will....Well I haven't decided exactly, but it would leave Ross close to powerless for a good while.))

She quickly shakes her head. "No, it's okay. That's happened to me and Airis too... But I don't believe we were on quite the same level." A little more at ease, she walks a bit closer to him, intending to get a better idea of just what those scars are. "Are you alright now?"

((1) I'm in the middle of the jungle, outside of your line of sight. 2) There isn't really a day/night cycle. Not yet at least. 3) Most Guardians tend not to need sleep; Ross only sleeps to visit the ocean realm. 4) I was asleep for no longer than ten or fifteen minutes. Sorry x3 ))
