I'm new I'm playing on the solitude server, I've poked around, I have it much better than some others. I spawned in a ravine, almost died and killed a zombie, I got above ground, not the BEST decision, but right next to the ravine was a GODSEND a village, with torches and over 20 wheat. I saw a sign that said another player was here, most of the place was there, only the items in the blacksmith chest seemed displaced, i could care less, right now is my 3rd day, 2 fields of crops almost done growing, I have enough bread to last a few more days, and i have a nice amount of saplings planted around me, life is good so far, the only problem is the crater on the horizon is doing more damage to me than I would like.
