Hunger Games: Keep or Throw?

Do You Think the Hunger Games Server Should be Kept?

As many of you have, I have recently been playing the new Hunger Games server that has been added to Blocktopia. As I was playing, it came to my attention that the server is only temporary. And I personally think, and I'm sure some of you agree with me, that Blocktopia has created another precious jewel that should not go to waste.

What I want to know is this: do you think the Hunger Games server should stay? I would be honored if the rulers of Blocktopia would take the results into consideration.

Upon the chance of the server staying, I had a few ideas for it. Possibly, players could have the option of joining 1 of 12 "Districts," like clans except for the fact that they have no ranks, and it would merely be a title for a creative touch. Also, possibly, there could be arena submissions, kind of like map submissions in AoD and Adevnture & Tournaments.

So if you see this, please vote, although I am not forcing you too. I thought I should just take a stand for this server and try to keep it from being deleted. If it is in any way bad that I posted this, feel free to delete it. Thank you for hearing me out.

Throwing things like 'this is stupid' around isnt quite mature or well argued. And it might just get me to do the opposite just to annoy you.

Also, don't speak as 'we' if you have no say about how to run this community or where we want to take it.

^ Listen to him he knows things. He replaced my whole brain and cloned another one with only duct tape.

But in all seriousness that sounds like the best idea. Having it as a regular server would just have no one on it for a while. Hell i was checking a lot of times today and yesterday when no one was on showing that its better as a planned once in a while thing rather then all the time.

I haven't played Hunger Games (Other than the first one we ever did), so I can't really give much feedback on how I feel about this.

But, I can say that it doesn't seem worth it. I highly suggest we look toward something else as on official server, if anything else at all.

And that doesn't mean MineZ. There are plenty of MineZ servers, always populated. The reason Solitude dies out is because it's always empty, which gives away the sense of presence as you play the game.

We need a type of server that will be fun to play, with or without people-- Unless the whole community likes it so much, that it becomes a permanent official server.

And MineZ and Hunger Games are not the kind of servers that we'll keep forever.

Well, there is an easy way to solve that problem: make it unique. There are thousands of things that I'm sure Blocktopia could think of to make this a unique server. I actually had a few ideas myself; possibly a monthly battlefield when players are entered evenly and randomly in teams: Capitol vs. Rebels. I have confidence that if we kept a Hunger Games server, we could turn it into a completely unique one.
