i didnt say yu have i sed the guys idea is good but if he wants anything to be happening HE shud be the one translting and if others feel same way they will too admins were never mentioned to have to translate

Admins are not the only staff.
Plus, I'm sure people who support this idea don't speak every language, not to mention the fact they won't be online every time someone who needs translation.
Basically, I would have the say the only way to have something like this on the servers is to have a very strong plug-in, or something. I'm not much of an expert on this.
it doesnt take knowing how to speak the language to use a translator and besides all they have to do is use Google Translate and then type it in to chat in the language for person who needs to have it translated it does take a little bit of time but if they truly feel about it im sure its of no problem to them they just say to Staff 'I'm going to use google translate to translate for so and so easy
wat has ur spanish teacher got to do with this and how is it cheating to help translate for someone
it was only a recommendation you can use a number of translators

Drakyle, please make sure your ideas are at least somewhat logical before you present them. Even if we were to pretend that Google Translate could translate a basic foreign sentence without botching it horribly, it's simply not feasible to make our staff - or anyone else - spend time typing everything a foreigner says in chat into Google Translate and then typing the translation back into chat.
No. Stop. Don't respond. I don't want to give myself a headache reading another poorly typed out message that presents nothing of value. This idea has been completely shot down by several people with the highest ranks there are, and for very good reasons. Unless you can come up with another way to implement it that solves those problems without creating additional ones, you are not contributing to this thread in any way. It's a waste of both your time and ours for us to have to explain why Google Translate is not a good tool for this, which you would've easily been able to figure out if you'd done some basic research before replying.
And on that note, thread locked, as the suggestions was turned down by the head staff based on substantial evidence against it working.
