When I move the mouse to look a different direction my frame rate drops to single digits or zero. But if I don't move the mouse, I get no lag at all. The WASD moving contols and clicking on the mouse don't cause lag. Anyone had this problem before?

After messing around a while here is what a came up with. When I move the cursor, the frame rate goes to zero and freezes until I stop moving the cursor. Then the frame rate jumps back up and everything returns to normal. Also, the white cursor shows while I am moving the mouse. Cursor works fine when I press B and am selecting a block. After some checking around on the web lots of other people have had the same kind of problem buy no solutions are listed.

Is your graphics card really old or just terribad? When you're turning around, the new terrain gets rendered and your hardware can't keep up with the demands. Since you're running on a laptop, I assume this is the case.

Can you list your specs (gpu, cpu, ram)?

(Minecraft: 15 year old graphics requiring no more than a one year old computer)

I tried WoM and it works on that. I can't believe I forgot about that program. It still drops the frame rate a little, but it is better than nothing. Playing on the minecraft website still doesn't work.

And the external mouse is NOT wireless. Thanks for the replies.
