Now I am really curious about Aqua's reasoning for clearing Alisha and Tim because if he is speaking the truth then there's only a limited pool of people who could be evil. Exception is when there is really a conversion mafia system with sinners.

So I guess I'll claim to continue the massclaims going - btw completely believe inf's claim and somewhat believe Hk's, the claim itself is fine but the protect on me is a little sus purely because I felt me being nk'd night 0 would be TOO obvious from a mafia perspective.
Anyway I'm saint Joseph and I am not a cop per se
Every day (hence why I pushed alisha day 0 about the timeline of sinner activity as I assumed their action must also be day) I pick a player to bless if they are a poor sinner they are blessed and cannot make a DWTD that night, if they are not a poor sinner it fails and I am notified.
So sort of a cop/blocker.
This is to say that mafia sinners don't have the same nomenclature as townie sinners however, I originally believed mafia to not have access to the poor sinner role name but now I'm not so sure.

Both were successfully blessed so both are Poor Sinners, whether that makes them townie is a different matter altogether, but they definitely didn't lie about their role names.
Anyway I'm gonna be gone for a few hours will catch up and organise my plans for action for today, if we can keep the massclaim alive that would be wonderful.
If all saint claims are truthful, which I honestly doubt, only theWeakGuy, BetaPande and Skele could be evil. I expect there to be like 3 evils in total unless there's weird game mechanics. Assuming they are all scum seems not only optimistic cuz of inactivity but who would have blocked HK last night (assuming he is speaking the truth).
If I would consider making a deal with the devil I'd always choose a track over a roleblock. Mafia roleblocker is ofc always an option. If there are so many saints I am sure they also got some power actions.
I think midgame track or roleblocks are the best use of it, early game mail is the best

is exactly what Fog tried to do that the devil rejected because mail could have been a way he could have proven he was a sinner. I'm 102% certain the devil was afraid of sinners clearing themselves and rejected the deal because of that reason, and that the devil isn't going to be someone playing this game casually or semi-inactively.
as for who the devil probably specifically is, i haven't thought that far ahead yet but i'm getting closer to narrowing down my list of suspects!

Aqua if you got told about sinners being Poor Sinners why didn't you make any attempt at trying to confirm sinner claims day 0 through seeing if they knew it was called poor sinner, when you thought maf wouldn't get told about that? and if you hadn't considered doing it why did you blame alisha for the same thing?

also choosing someone during the day and then visiting them at night feels weird as well, surely if you do something to do them during the day then you have no reason to visit them during the night

like, it'd either be
you stop someone from even having their deal be offered to the devil at night, thus why you choose them during the day - in which case there's no reason for you to visit them that night
or
you stop someone's deal from being able to be accepted during the night, in which case sure you'd visit them, but why do you need to choose them during the day

To elaborate I needed to find out whether the poor part was integral to the nomenclature of the game or whether it was flavour text - once I had found out Tim was indeed a sinner (and possibly a poor sinner) I asked, in a manor that wouldn't imply I already knew, "Does your name have a prefix before sinner?"
He said it does.
I was going to go on and use this against fog and/or alisha but then beta immediately replied saying he was a poor sinner to my post, ruining said strategy.

i still dont like how your role visits people at night
that still doesn't mean hk is 100% scum if aqua is though
hk claimed he visited aqua and there was no nightkill, not that he got told aqua was actually an attempted kill, so in theory it could still be that the nokill was from something else, e.g. if maf and devil doesnt know who each other are, maf could've blocked devil from killing/devil is bulletproof and maf hit them like tim suggested
yeah those theories are are a stretch and im not saying i think theyre true, but just saying, if aqua is scum, its not quite 100% that hk is
