If notty is the cop and he investigated sploorky he would have gotten vigilante.

He means that IF I wouldn't have told who the vigilante was.
If I were contact I would probabily have told the mafia and sploor had died. Next day they knew I was a contact because of that.
Or, that as cop sploor wouldn't die in the night because I'm not mafia so I'm not trying to get him killed.
I think thats what he meant, not totaly sure tough.
I mean that since the mafia is with the contact, then they would get to kill Sploor easily, while if it was the cop, then the mafia wouldn't kill him tonight (or at least while knowing he's the vigilante).
Ok look, what happens if we lynch Nottykitten and he turns out to be that damn cop. The town pretty much lost their only way to figure out who is the mafia without randomly lynching. I don't feel like taking the risk of lynching the cop.

Look, why doesn't everyone who believes that notty isn't mafia explain why? And I'm sorry, but I don't think "We have a history of lynching the cop" is a valid excuse. The community as a whole don't do that, fear of repeating events shouldn't stop you from possibly eliminating the most dangerous mafia member.
Look Sploorky, There is a possibility that Nottykitten is the contact but there is also a possibility that he is the cop.
I want to wait that the cop actually counterclaims nottykitten before voting him off based off nothing. It's not safe. Let's just wait a little bit.

But we HAVE pretty much solid evidence. You can't peg two random people trying to protect him(before he claimed cop), and some obvious oversights as coincidence.
If the real cop wants to claim, whatever. We'd be in a worse spot. I'm not removing my vote on notty either way.

It is. The reason none has counterclaimed is because it is too risky for anyone to counterclaim the actual cop. Even for the contact. [Yes I am implying that a random person would counterclaim to try and get me lynched]
No worries, but there is always an alternative of voting oak. This argument is getting around and people are finally believing I am the cop. We just have to let it get by. Time will only tell how this will end. And all I can hope for is that it will turn out in ym favour.
Sploor you say that if I live, tonight you will be dead. But if the doctor saves you, you can still do your think and kill nitasu or dessern or whoever you think is suspicious. [I didn't say oak as I hope that if I survive, oak is lynched instead]
I HONESTLY don't think notty is the contact. Seeing what he said, if he was the contact he'd've told the mafia and they would have killed Sploorky. Since Sploorky didn't die and wasn't targeted by someone(Unless I forget he was), then I don't think that can lead Notty to be mafia. Notty's said he's the cop. I dunno about you folks, but lynching notty imho is a bad idea.

you all want to know what I think. I think this is all just such failure. I expected ore than this when I woke up but seriously come on if someone is CLAIMING cop you don't go "lets lynch him he lying. In my opinion what UI want to do is go back to nitasu who wanted the detective to revel himself in the first place on the first day which is more suspicious than anything said so far. Voting for notty and possibly killing the cop or voting for Defiant a possible civ would be wasteful. That's my opinion
