I am getting a bit annoyed with the level of participation from a lot of us.
To keep this game active, I'm starting a vote. DillonSaysRawr.
One, for lack of participation during day one. Two, he hasn't responded with his thoughts. Honestly he screams mafia to me, as he's been playing a perfect under the radar game. Don't tell me that I should wait for his thoughts before voting him, because he has enough time to post them regardless. And I am perfectly willing to take my vote back if he convinces me that he's innocent.
Wat.
What?
And I thought thus far we were doing SO WELL in avoiding the stereotypical and silly arguments based on skill, quietness, and etc. We were doing so well in avoiding that on the first day, and as soon as this second one starts we immediately decide to jump onto that specific argument and/or bandwagon?
This was why I was so infuriated by Mafia Lite Season 3.5 prior to this, because Marn's argument held no water in terms of actual evidence.
We already know that people can be quiet as well as have a high level of participation.
We have noted in the past that people can do this whether it be a specific / preferred playstyle.
Yes, sometimes people don't have much to say that'll contribute to the discussion; Because why have someone post something not that useful to the topic at hand, when it could, if twisted the right way by a player, be used against them as possible Mafia, Serial Killer, Independent, etc???
I do not like this argument.
It doesn't make Dillion suspicious of Mafia at all.
All it does, is make note of a clear, invisible rule of Mafia:
"If you decide to join in on a Mafia Season, you have an obligation of participating in the discussion and trying to actually play the game for whatever alignment/team you are apart of and not merely just sitting there and watching from afar."
That is the only thing that this kind of argument can legitimately be correct in, is that some players are not acting enough in the game as they possibly should, because if they don't, they will
1) Either be considered Mafia for this very reason of being "Quiet/Low participation,"
and
2) Slows down the game, brings us into stalemates, eventually bringing us to deadends and loss of discussion and interest in the game.
I don't see Dillon as Mafia at all because of this.
Arguments like this tend to make me more adamant in opposing said arguments and my refusal to vote due to said arguments being used.
If you want me to vote on something like this, produce a good discussion with some good, rational suspicion, logic, and/or evidence to back it up.
Also:
I will abstain for now because I have been a bit busy as of late.
Don't abstain. D:
Ever since abstaining became apart of the voting process in which an abstain lessens the amount of votes needed for a successful lynch, abstaining has been essentially nigh-useless and bad for the town in question.
Lynches should be a unanimous vote based on what everyone in the town (using the town as "all players in the daytime" in this example) thinks is best for that day in question.
Abstaining essentially lowers the needed voting count, allowing room for less-logically sound lynches to squeeze through the cracks, and allow potential anti-town roles to start making pushes.
Don't abstain people! It's not good for the game!
Also (since I was just alerted to this):
I feel that the game is progressing great. There has been some drama, which is good for things like this. The votings have took me by surprise, and I didn't expect to see some of the people that have been lynched or killed go so early. Things are heating up.
This is a very general statement about the game overall which avoids taking sides. I wouldn't penalize Dillon for this because there really isn't much that he can take sides on right now, since we know notty's role, hockey's role, etc. But I am still suspicious of him.
Another person who seems to be making general statements and kind of riding the fence is balloon98. Although he did take a side on the nottycat issue, he didn't do it until others were also skeptical of nottycat. His actions speak mafia to me. He hasn't given any reason for me not to vote for him. So I'm going to go ahead and vote
balloon98.
I remember Notty saying he was suspicious of Balloon before he died, but I'm not entirely sure why.

Unless I'm just being oblivious to some information because I was focusing on everything else at hand, then I'm not entirely sure why Balloon would be suspicious.
Can you give some examples (like, from quotes or stuff) so I can be caught up/understand your suspicions better.
I'm curious / can't seem to understand it quite yet without that kind of assistance.
PS:
People, you need to start talking. I don't want this to end up like another Season in which we decide just to end the season entirely due to lack of participation. If you joined this forum game, you should be talking and participating.
