MCVC dosnt work, it keeps saying i need to get the new version of the minecraft launcher

For MCnostalgia the open download is safe, so you can unblock it.
For MCV You just need to have an unmodded minecraft.jar, so go to Minecraft.net and get one, then download MCV.
About getting the 1.5/1.5.1 .jar, make sure that you have the latest Java Oracle update and that no other Java programs are running except the latest.
