Lol, I finally had a look to see what all this bronie stuff is about(I thought it would be so retarded) but Its actually pretty good for some reason.
I was original extremely curious to why many people were interested in a young girls' show. I saw pictures of MLP:FiM in many places on the forums and thought it looked very stylistic. Eventually, I became so curious that I gave the show a try. The first minute of it made me go, "EWWW" and didn't watch it for the next few weeks. The second time, I decided to watch ONLY the pilot. But that lead me to watch episode 3, then 4, then 5, then 6 and you get the point until I ended up wanting to see season 2.

Yes, i do watch My Little Pony ever since everyone got a craze for it... And guess what? It's very good! I just can't get enough of watching it because it's very happy-like. If i was a psychiatrist i would recommend for ppl in depression
to go watch it! It will make you happy! (I skip the opening song and songs in-between some episodes) Go watch it,
it's exactly like watching Disney but better!

If it was exactly like watching Disney it'd
1. Be made by a company that has loads of attention-w***ing singers and actors
2. Have a song every five minutes
3. Not have a plot. (No pun intended.)
4. Be full of big-name, overhyped, teenage nitwit actors.

Why did i say "but better"? And i said Disney because if you've watched Disney movies
the animation's almost the same and it's very girlish. I never said company or singers... and My Little Pony does have some songs, but i never said any time signatures did i?

I've watched the whole series of My Little Pony, and half the series of Phineas and Ferb, some episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (against my will, mind you), and some of their newer movies, along with their older movies.
The animation didn't look in any way similar IMO, and from what I saw when comparing the song usage between FiM and Phineas and Ferb, Phineas and Ferb has quite a s**tload more songs for a show targeted at people around my age, whereas FiM is targeted at all audiences, but mainly to those female and ages 4 to 12, so what baffles me is how MLP:FiM has about 4 songs the whole series, theme put aside, and Phineas and Ferb has about two songs each fricking episode like it's for the same main targeted audience.
But then again, I lost my respect for Disney after witnessing how being under its employment as a child actor really messes your life up when you reach adulthood or late teenagehood. So my opinion's a tad biased.

What the hell? My little pony isn't girly, try telling that to the 90% of the fanbase that are grown men. MLP is for badasses.

NO KOA I DON'T LIKE IT DON'T MESSAGE ME ON STEAM ABOUT IT

See, sexualizing things (e.g."girly", "manly") is common, but it shouldn't determine whether someone of a gender likes it or not.
And, pie, don't start a shitstorm about this, please.

That may be so, but it was INTENDED for young females which explains why it has many "girly" elements to it to watch which would categorize it as "girly". I'm not too sure if hypothetically a show about becoming a master player on COD would be girly if most of the viewers were girls since it was intended for guys. Although as Ciphered said, whether something is intended for either male or female shouldn't actually restrict either to enjoy it. Although the intended target audience something is for is usually true.

TL;DR: IMO, it depends on the creator's/creators' intentions on whether or or not something is for a specific target audience (if you think this thinking is flawed, prove me otherwise).

1. Fluttershy
2. Rainbow Dash
3. Apple Jack
4. Twilight Sparkle ----|
5. Pinkie Pie -----------|--- Not too sure about the order for these
6. Rarity ---------------|

Although Twilight is on my lower half of my top 6, she's definitely the one I would be likely to befriend most easily out of the rest.

What i meant by "girly" is that the intended audience is for young girls geez. I never said that men couldn't watch it and you really need to look at what im not referring to in my replies. Dont start flaming on my comments please.

SINCE TWILIGHT SUCKS SO HARD.. I have to redo my list.

1. Fluttershy
2. Spitfire
3. Rainbow Dash
4. Rarity
5. Applejack
6. Pinkie Pie

Yeah, I bumped Twilight off the list completely. :D
Twilight is actually one of the characters that bind the whole moral of the story together... I like all of the ponies, they're all very unique and fun.

Man's New Best Friend.. a pony!
