I SAW THAT

Chilling I love you like a bro but CMON! Give the Giants some credit I mean look at the players Eli Manning ( I admit he sucks at some times/moments) Brandon Jacobs , Mario Manningham, Ahmad Bradshaw, Victor Cruz, Osi Umeinyora (no idea how to spell his last name and too lazy to look up) and finally Corey Webster.

May i remind you of the 2008 season? Patriots record 18 wins 1 GIANT loss
Hate to break it to you, but most experts predict the Giants won't even make the playoffs this year. Plus, two of those players don't even play for them any more.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. I think they did a good job at the Running Back position by drafting a young running back in David Wilson, who's shifty and provides the Giants with a set of fresh young legs. Brandon Jacobs' tires were running out of tread, as happens to physical running backs such as him. So the Giants made a smart decision by letting go of him in my opinion.

David Wilson
As with WR, may I remind you that the Giants already possess one of the best WR tandems in Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks, who both gave the Cowboys fits last year. You also added Rueben Randle in the Draft, which even though he's abit rough around the edges with things such as route running, he adds a capable body to your already capable receiving core.

Rueben Randle
In summary, don't worry ;)
Was mainly worried about manningham his amazing catch made us win against the Patriots last year.
Jacobs... to be honest I could care less I have seen Ahmad run waay farther and he has been on the team longer

Alright, I figure I'll do a breakdown of my team, the Dallas Cowboys. I'll start with my offensive grades for now, and you can judge them for yourselves if you wish, it's open for debate.

Oh...Tony oh Tony... What is there that hasn't been said about you my good sir? You are an outstanding athelete, possessing overall good mechanics even when scrambling for your life, and above average accuracy and ball velocity. What you need now is to finally have success in the postseason, which even though the rest of the team needs to do their jobs, the record is always going to fall back on you whether you deserve it or not.

Backup Quarterback Kyle Orton is looking good, and its nice to know we have a capable quarterback to replace an injured Tony for a couple games if need be. Third String QB, Stephen McGee, if you don't step up your game the Cowboys may see fit to keep only 2 quarterbacks this year...

Grade: A

DeMarco Murray, my man, you certainly surprised us last year with your breakout performance. I was one of your supporters when we drafted you, even though others thought we had too many needs to draft another back. Now you're being compared to Emmitt Smith and Dorsett, you just gotta stay healthy and make sure Sean Lee doesn't kill you.

Felix Jones, you better step up or you will go down as a bust.

Welcome Lawrence Vickers! You are the unknown prized gem that we acquired this off-season, and I'm looking forward to you blasting linebackers this season!

Grade:B+

Dez Bryant, you're looking REAL good in training camp this year. You've improved overall as a football player during the off-season and this is looking like your best year so far. But you're a hot-head, and if you get into situations WITH YOUR OWN MOM. It doesn't matter if the relationship is not the most ideal one, you are a Dallas Cowboy and you need to control your temper before you make another decision that could possibly derail your career entirely.

Miles, you have great talent, but this situation with your hamstrings worries me. You need to stay healthy in order for us to succeed.

Danny Coale, Cole Beasley, Raymond Radway...we need one or more of you to step up your game, because Ogletree just doesn't do it for me as the 3rd wideout.

Grade: B

Jason Witten, you are the epitome of consistency. Just keep doing what you're doing.

John Phillips, you're not the most atheletic, but you've proved to be a nice player for us.

Grade:A

Tackles Doug Free and Tyron Smith have switched spots, but you guys represent the best players of this group. Looking forward to watching Tyron grow up as a player.

Uggh...the interior line, you guys are a mess. You guys are competing in camp, and it looks like the new guy Ronald Leary is the guy emerging from this group...but we're trying to make him a center, even though he's a guard. Phil Costa is not working out well so far, and his "replacements" aren't much better. With Tony Romo being a shorter guy, we need to keep those interior passing lanes open for him. If we fail, I will take a bet that this group will be the reason for our downfall.

Grade: C-

My analysis of your analysis (note: I'm also a Cowboy fan):
Quarterback: I love the pickup of Orton, that's probably the best you can do as a backup. And I thought McGee could be better, but I guess it's not to be. I agree with your grade.
RB: I'm very cautious about getting too excited about DeMarco, his potential is great, but the injury concern is very high for me. Plus with the horrible O-line I could see him getting rocked more and more which equals a better chance of injury. I don't like our backup situation, not a fan of Jones at all. Vickers is nice, but come on, it's a fullback. I think B+ is a little high
WR: You're much too high here in my opinion. Dez has been a training camp star for the past 2 seasons as well, and look where that got him. Miles is injury prone, and without a quality 3rd reciever, the future isn't looking bright.
TE: Witten is a consistency monster, and I love his attitude and comments this camp. Phillips is a quality back-up and anything is better than Marty B. I agree with your grade.
O-line: Nobody is looking good so far this camp, but it's early so hopefully they can turn it around. However, on a positive note the offensive line was horribly porous last year, and the Cowboys had one of the best offensive statistics season in franchise history. Your grade is agreeable.

Nice analysis, hopefully the Cowboys can break .500 this season.

(I'm Double posting because both texts are long and completely different topics.)

So, what is your NFL Superteam? If you're knowledgeable of certain offenses/defenses, feel free to state what kind you'd prefer to run. Here's my roster: with 11 on offense, 11 on defense, Kicker, punter- Total of 24 players. I'll start with offense for today.

Offense:
Run Heavy West Coast Offense with Zone Blocking Scheme. This offense popularized by Mike Shanahan has consistently produced in production at the running back position, with names such as Terrell Davis, Clinton Portis, Arian Foster reach great statistical achievements because of this scheme. It all starts with the offensive linemen, who are required to be both quick and intelligent, and instead of covering a specific person, instead concentrate on specific areas and any blockers who enter them. There is some other hardcore whamajamma that I'm leaving out to save space. Some current NFL teams who run this are the Texans, Redskins, Chiefs, and Raiders. In my selections, I may leave off a certain player, but this is because I'm picking the best players for this specific scheme.

QB:
Aaron Rodgers-Green Bay Packers.

I prefer my quarterback to be 1. accurate 2. mobile and 3. intelligent. Aaron is all these things tied into one, and with his knowledge of the West Coast Offense I feel more comfortable handing him the ball when I need him the most.

RB:
Arian Foster-Houston Texans.

He has been one of the most dangerous backs in the NFL and is comfortable in the Zone Blocking Scheme as evident by his production. At the age of 25, he still has tread in his tires.

WRs:
Calvin Johnson- Detroit Lions.

He has it all, size, strength, speed, youth. It just took this season for him to put it all together, but he dominated his competition wherever he went.

Larry Fitzgerald- Arizona Cardinals

Even with one of the worst quarterback situations in the league, Fitz managed to put up over 1400 yards receiving last yr, good for 4th in the league. He's also one of the nicest guys in the league, not a washed up diva.

Wes Welker-New England Patriots

He knows how to operate on the football field, always finding the open crack in the defense for consistent first downs. He was 2nd in receiving yards last year, so he's doing something right.

TE:
Rob Gronkowski- New England Patriots

Huge. Young. Dominates. Gronk.

OL:
LT: Joe Thomas- Cleveland Browns
LG: Carl Nicks- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
C: Chris Myers- Houston Texans
RG: (Switching from LG) Mike Iupati- San Francisco 49ers
RT: (Switching from LT) Duane Brown- Houston Texans

All these guys have great athleticism for their size, and I'm just salivating at the thought of what I could do with all these guys together.

Challenge Accomplished. (well 50%) :p

Now, for my team.

I am excited to see how Schiano (from rutgers not far from where I live :D) puts together this Bucs team. Now that Freeman has a few more veteran weapons this could be a powerful offense. I was there in Tampa for a few training camps and they were looking great (yes, I did meet future hall pf famer Ronde Barber along with the other 90-95% of the team). Very interested on how well we will perform against them lucky Giants (psst Schiano get Rob Ryan on the phone pronto) then the Cowboys right after that. Now it's certainly a good test but I'm not sure if it will be too soon in the season.

Look out Eagles if we stay healthy, we will hopefully take Vicks head off (that is if he can survive till then).

Obviosly I hate my own division but, not as bad as I hate Philly and NY. I guess maybe it's because I live right smack dab between the two cities or it's because I'm a partial Cowboys and Bears fan. ;)
