Howdy. For just around a year you've known me as SnapFlash. Today, I'm announcing my leave of Blocktopia, due to a bunch of complicated reasons. I'll try to explain all of these, but I may not be able to.

1. I'm getting generally inactive because Blocktopia is getting generally inactive. I see less people excited for things and more just bittersweet happiness for the new servers that are coming out. A Good Example of this is Infected. Good server, good idea, but it was released too late in my opinion. Unless radical changes are made to this community and how it works, I guarantee the community will fall in the near future. (Seriously, Baker, get another Admin. It will help if you have big BT workloads some days. Just a friendly tip of advice. You don't want everything to crumble underneath you.)

2. I've realized most of my best memories are when I was actually favored by most people, and now that concept has gotten old and grey. I've gotten far too annoying and have overstayed my chances here, and there's no way I can repay my mistakes. All I can say is that if you were emotionally inflicted by my assholishness, then there's really no way I can make up for it.

3. I'm banned from 2 of the 5 servers, and when those servers happen to be the most intriguing and time-killing ones, it doesn't help.

4. I have lost interest in League of Legends (OMFG wut is dis snappy) Aha, No. Shut Up. I really have lost serious interest in League mainly because I don't really favor MMORPGs and RPGs, with exceptions.
A big salute to those people because some of my good memories come from them.

5. Old friends which I used to play a lot with have now become new enemies, and this doesn't really favor my physique and self-thought where I can't take the word "no." It just doesn't work guys, I'm sorry.

And, like many people that leave, I attempted to think of a way to call out every person. Aha, No. That will not work. And so, I leave a familiar-ish message that everyone has said at some point or another when they leave: If you've ever met me, then I give you a fedora tip/handshake/pat on the back/etc.
That's good enough for me. And you know what, FUCK IT, I thank ALL OF YOU for putting up with my bullshit that I have. You all deserve medals.

Despite you coming into rooms and talking over people/diverting the attention towards yourself/changing the topic of discussion, there's a certain part of me that will miss conversing with you.

You got on my nerves quite often and made me quite angry at times, but you are honestly just a kid and I can't really hate you for that. Peace out, enjoy life, don't harp on yourself too much yo.

oops, I almost forgot I was going to post here until I saw the post above. my thoughts are fairly similar

No matter what the general opinion of you is here, I will miss you. It's a bit difficult to explain, but your presence in this community actually was something different; you were a change to the usual (and sometimes) boring conversations on TS. The drama revolving around you and private rooms and what not was pretty entertaining to witness, and pathetic at the same time. (...who rates a goodbye post "thank you"? Where is the etiquette? Honestly.) It was also interesting to see how just you alone could expose the true personalities of people. Or, in other words, the people who couldn't tolerate you showing who they truly are.

I was there when you first made your mark here as an active RoF user who got banned once, appealed, and then banned permanently. As a former staff member I can recall your name being known by every single one of us. I won't bring up any names, but right before your actual ban I'm pretty sure nobody on the staff team (besides me, and maybe one other person) could tolerate you anymore. I know I tried my best to accept how you acted and not let it get to me; I laughed at how frustrated others would get with you.

Personally, I couldn't stand when I heard about people who refused to have any tolerance for you whatsoever, even though you'd only approached me a couple brief times so I don't know how others felt. Along with that, I myself know how it feels to be excluded. It's something you just cope with, you move on and end up finding out who the right people are; that's what I did, and it's what you should do as well. I don't really recall, but I believe your attempts to impress the administration came across as harassment? Either way it was ridiculous to me how people can have such low tolerance, but it's in the past now.

The server bans here are irrelevant. Yeah you were a lot to put up with for some people, but what matters in the end is your goodwill. I've been here to see you grow since the beginning, and you seem to be miles ahead of where you were when you were banned on RoF. You've done an amazing job, and you deserve more words of appraisal for that. You just turned 14, too! I know you can find your place, you just have to give it some time. You'll learn as you grow older. And the most important part of all - please don't try and directly follow in someone's footsteps (i.e. Sploorky's); I understand having role models but you took it to another level. BE YOUR OWN PERSON! You are who you are and there's some things you can change and some things you can't. Don't get caught up in the unchangeable, there's always room for improvement to better yourself as a person.

As a piece of friendly advice: practice talking with people one-on-one rather than in groups; it's something I'm better at and I have a strong feeling you would be too after the times you, me, lizzy, and sometimes sploorky were the only ones in a room. Especially considering the aforementioned habits you have of talking over people, changing the topic, etc. Just don't go overboard with talking about yourself. (;

I hate the people that try to bring you down. Fuck them. What they should think is that everything you did is in the past and your departure is just like anyone else's. Best of luck to you in school and whatever lies beyond. I hope you make great decisions and find success outside of this community! Blocktopia is supposed to be a "welcoming, friendly place," (as stated in number 2 on the Terms of Service and Rules) and so with that said -- once a Blocktopian, always a Blocktopian! As much as I'm swallowing my pride when I say this, it needs to be said. I'm sorry. I can put myself among those that 'avoided' you when in reality I've been through that and looking back it's ironic that now I'm the one who does it. Words cannot express how sorry I am about it, as said above, you're just a kid trying to fit in, even though you may have 'tried so hard' that it came out as annoying. I never really told you to leave a Teamspeak room when you were in it, but instead said I was leaving or made up any excuse to go to another room. This is as cowardly as it gets and it's really embarassing thinking about it considering you're a good person and I never actually tried to know you before rejecting you. I'll say this again, I'm sorry and, as cliché as this phrase is in goodbye threads, good luck with life.
