I downloaded this mod and a custom map based off of portal 2, and the portal gun (only fires blue) broke on me, the portal goes away when I walk up to it or get too close :/

Have you tried re-downloading it?

that's happened to me once, it was because i put a portal in the nether, then went back to overworld and put a connecting portal to see what it would do, the portal would disappear when i touched it.

i quit the game and re opened it and it was fine
