Well hello there fellow Blocktopians!

I'm an ex Trusted staff member of Blocktopia's last SMP server,and after it went down and became Primordia,so I lost interest in Minecraft, when Primordia also sadly went down I made a server with some friends of mine,and sadly that also went down due to lack of players(15 really isn't enough to keep a server going).

I'll be bringing some of those 15 people and hopefully making a Clan/Faction(Depending on what plug-ins will be used) on SMP, and hopefully managing to make peace with Jammy!

Nothing planned for near future that we're announcing (key word, announcing) - We're in no rush to start spamming 101 plugins to try make it "entertaining" (short term solution, server dies fast anyway if you rely on plugins to hook people). But a few small SMP updates will be made over the coming month or two.

uhtr5r scotty12345 Mac27 - Can you please ensure if your members "are" returning to Blocktopia they don't pull shit like this as soon as they hit the servers? Otherwise you can expect a VERY icy welcome as well as a piss poor reputation towards people from Ionia -i doubt either of us want that.

I feel a MASSIVE shitstorm coming up.

It's been brewing ever since Ionia started trawling here for members. And I've been keeping my butthole clenched cos of the services some of you guys have done us in the past.

As for turtlekingman

That log, which granted is a bit out of context, warrants a lovely little global permanent ban in my opinion. However since Malcovent found it, I'll leave it in his capable hands if it's going to be a global ban, permium ban, or just smp ban.

That said... Why the fuck come back when you feel this way?
As a last note... We don't know how to run a server?
Community started up less then half a year after first minecraft pre-alpha, So that's over three or so years, and we currently have 7 servers running.
You tried running one for what? 3 months? Had to resort to stealing members from here, and failed.

Okay well first of all we didn't steal them,they came to us because your SMP wasn't up at that moment,and apparently,there NEVER was going to be another one,coming from a HA whom i won't name. You can call it stealing but the majority of them went back,there were literally 4-5 people on the server who were BT members,and some of them played BT SMP as well. I saw Malc say that there are bugs to be fixed etc before you intsall plugins,your SMP has been up for almost as long as Ionia,you have "bugs" to fix,when theres no plugins! It doesnt make sense.
And as for my rant about Angel and his Brother,they came on our server saying sh*t how BT is better and our server sucked ass etc,sadly,I wasnt online to ban their asses. Yes I will apologize for my rant,but how are there bugs with a server with next to no plugins?

And I don't think dragging uht,scotty or Mac deserve to be pulled in to this. My decisions are my own,nothing related to them.

Perhaps you don't understand how things quite work - When blocktopia members fuck around on other servers and we 'know' about it - we rein them back in - and we expect the same from any half-decent community. So when you come onto our servers saying things like that, I fully expect one of the leaders of Ionia - despite its closure, to come and pull you back in before it stirs up more shit than the situation requires.

As for the plugins, as far as i've seen beyond a few permission nodes that need to be moved - and the map not currently mapping, theres next to no bugs. (Also, as for your little rant about the IRC bot - as far as i've been told, because we are running 4-5 IRC bots, we can't assign another one to SMP unless another server gave theirs up. So far, the lack of IRC has led to zero problems in staffing or checking appeals.)

Lastly, for angels brother - you come and tell either AngelWV or us, you don't get your own back by going on the server and referring to him as a faggot. We don't like our community members spouting crap like that as much as you don't. But if you don't report it - do not expect our sympathy or understanding.

Overall, weak argument. Now if you'd kindly move along since you are so critical of the community.

Ionian staff and players were actively recruiting new players within our community. Even when we started our own full smp server again. I've read the reports, heard recordings and saw the logs. To the point where we had to give a global warning for stealing / recruiting our players / advertising during a meeting or two. Feel free to go through the recaps.

Malcovent never said there are bugs to be fixed before you install plugins. He said we aren't going to add 50 plugins BECAUSE it creates bugs. He might have plans to add some more in now the server is getting somewhat established again. He might not. Regardless, the more plugins you add, the less it's like SMP.

If Angel and Brother did that, a community leader should have come to me or a different HA, and we'd have taken steps. But guess what? As I said, Ionian players and staff did the same in our TS and on our servers. in fact, you talked trash about us even after your server shut down, and were STILL recuiting players for another server as is shown in the logs above. Not a religious person at all, but the bible does have some usefull quotes. One is this: Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Stop blaming others for doing the same thing you do.

And I notice like a true internet troll you skipped over the really interesting thing... why the fuck did you come back if you hate it here, as is apperant? cos that right there is a-grade dumbassedness.

First off, welcome back. Sorry to hear about your server. I wasn't joking when you all first took leave and I was discussing the financial burdens of running a community. It's not easy.

I have a feeling this is directed towards me, yet I said no such thing. During the IRC chat we all had, I stated we had no plans to add in a vanilla server at that particular moment. We had other plans which we were interested in pushing forward. I even remember saying that is was possible we'd add one later.

Unfortunately, those plans fell through. In order to provide our members with something to do, a new SMP server was ushered in.

I don't recall you being in that channel when all this was discussed, though I could be wrong. Mac27 and uht5r were the two people I was talking to.

Yes, you did steal them. It can't be denied that Ionia actively recruited within our community. Many, many members came to me regarding this.

Truth be told: I'm indifferent towards it. Is it shady and disrespectful? Very. Was I going to start flinging bans around over it? No. I'm not interested in the petty games that are played in community politics. Our members are free to come and go as they please. Unless it's done in a very public manner, I'm not interested.

Using underhanded tactics such as that does speak volumes about someone's character and how I'm going to regard them. Coupled with this gem:

I'm sure you can picture how that comes off.

If there is an issue with a member, staff or regular, causing problems in another community we ask you bring it to the Head Staff. We've always taken this matter seriously. In the past we've done mass demotions of staff members over this. That goes for any problem regarding our staff our members. It should be brought to the proper people.

As a side-note, I won't have someone maliciously flinging the word faggot around. Not only is it extremely derogatory to the LGBT community, you come off looking like a fool as it shows don't have a vocabulary big enough to articulate your thoughts in a manner that doesn't make your come off as a twelve year old.

All that being said, refugees from Ionia are welcome. If this is the way you plan on acting however, I'd prefer you simply tipped your hat and headed for the door.

Even though thread was locked, I still would like people to know that Mac27 did contact us and assured us that none of the admins at Ionia supported TKM in this, and that swift action would've been taken if it was still an option.
