Right now it is in everyones best interest to find and lynch the illusionist.
I'm sorry, I don't quite get why.. though one thing I do know is he may plays both sides and possibly toy with us. I have an bit of suspicion on who the illusionist is.

Also the Yakuza can convert a player into a traitor every second night, so I guess he had made a conversion last night. Does anyone know if the powers carry on if he becomes a traitor or can he convert the contact/hooker/illusionist? And I'm assuming when they get converted they don't get a one-hit-resistance thing?

To me since the assistant role is now mason I was under the impression the assistant could become the illusionist once said role been taken care of.

Not only will the illusionist screw with investigation results, but any nighttime killing the illusionist swates away to another player.
While yes this does help the killing roles pinpoint who the illusionist is, the illusionist could even return a killing right back into the vigilantes face. The only person's to know the illusionist via night killing will be the mafia. Should either side really take a definitive lead the illusionist will jump to that side, the only way right now in the best benefit of everyone is a daytime lynch.

Yakuza can only unconvert Masons back into Traitors. All Traitors have can survive a hit, and this carries over if they are masoned.

I still can't really see anything in the chat that makes someone look a lot more suspicious than the rest except that pecks7 seems to have gone quiet again (although i do have slight suspicions but they're more just a random feeling).
Only a mafia would read a spoiler :p.

I think maybe I'm over thinking this game but it's been impossible for me to understand quite how to to tell what's what when everything is reversed I'm highly suspicious of the no-lynchers right now because there is absolutely no reason to have no-lynched. That only plays into enemy hands, if you let go of a lynch your giving your enemy a free day to advance their game.

  • The deadline was coming.
  • Both Town and Mafia have a converter and a killer.
  • I'd also like you to clarify what you meant by enemy.

not traitor having the best advantage, the town sided vigilante and mafia have the best advantages as they should if attacked each night at most hit 1-2 traitors.
I think you're very confused about how this game is setup. there are only two main factions plus a thirdparty illusionist.

The traitors are sided with the mafia. However, they don't partcipate in mafia meetings so the mafia power roles don't know who they are,

if the mafia wins the traitors win and if the traitors win the mafia wins they are the same alignment.

hopefully that helps.

I'm confused.
I was trying to throw people off with my statement hoping someone would take the bait. Now it looks like you're pretending to be acting confused and trying to scope if it's safe to town hunt publicly. Honestly you're lucky I don't vote you right now. @Mad11gab8 please answer the following questions as soon as possible.

are you actually town-sided?

why are you pretending to look confused?

I honestly don't get this setup but I am trying my best. Sorry :c

If that's your excuse, I see it as a cover up to a slip. I myself was confused with that statement thinking why.

I think maybe I'm over thinking this game but it's been impossible for me to understand quite how to to tell what's what when everything is reversed I'm highly suspicious of the no-lynchers right now because there is absolutely no reason to have no-lynched.
You say that but you're the one explaining how the game works. Also, dropping the question "are you actually town-sided" just drops a bomb. You're also pushing the idea that she is pretending to be confused.

I'm just going to say this now. I'm intentionally using scum to refer to both groups so I can further push my teams agenda. What side I'm playing is for everyone else to decide.

It should seem obvious I would do this but i'm always going to word my arguments to sound like they are in support of whoever the majority faction is. The minute the town takes majority my arguments will be about finding mafia scum instead (again to press the agenda of whichever team I'm actually on, I'll leave that for you all to decide yourselves)
What? Why are you in support of whoever the majority faction is? Shouldn't you be rooting for your own faction instead of trying to point fingers at your own faction as a scum?

At this moment the odds favor the town pushing a random lynch and I suspect the town might be just trying to get through the day so I suspect Erik of being Towny scum.

They're referring to the same day and it looks like you're contradicting your own statement.

Based on the ones above I think you're a scum. I don't know what kind of scum, but you sound like one. If one would think critically, and if I think my thoughts are right, it's possible that you are the Illusionist. You're pretty much supporting "both" factions.

To point out, the mafia faction held the majority yesterday, and are likely to today, so the default claim is of mafia, not town. (Essentially, everyone will claim mafia; this was a source of confusion). I can also help with the ins and outs of the setup if anyone needs.

(the reply button doesn't work for me for some reason but i'm trying to reply to myusername responding to mad11gab's "I'm confused")
Why do you instantly suspect mad11gab is just trying to act confused? I can see why he would be confused, every single post here is confuing me more and more.

I'm very suspicious of the lurker (pecks) just going to go ahead and tag him, make sure he knows we are doing this :p @pecks7

Also myuser I find it very suspicious that you would pounce on me for that one statement. Lots of poeple seem to be in the same boat and that seems pretty obvious.
