If I was right about you being a traitor you would bash me anyway in an attempt to take out the cop. (Again it's just good strategy to make an attempt on the life of your opponent) if i said you were town-sided the odds of me guessing a specific town-sided power role are really low and there aren't enough masons to make the odds of guessing mason worth it. Also the cop is town sided so if I'd guessed any town sided role there wouldn't be a conflict of interest or even possible motive for a town sided person to lie about their role to a cop and get the town cop lynched so that completely eliminated a town sided guess leaving me with three general choices traitor, mafia power role, and illusionist. I could have picked illusionist both sides might try to lynch you there and although I have a strong feeling you are town sided lying to both sides like that wouldn't be a good idea as I'm lying to my own team and there was too high a chance you could be mafia sided. Taking things into ones own hands like that is among the riskiest moves one can make and has a very high chance of screwing my own team over as then they would need to kill me as well. I could always say you were a mafia power role but that's a similar problem because I'd be telling the town vigilante to kill you off that night and again if I was wrong the odds on a backfire were still high. Like you said claiming traitor at this point in the game is probably the safest claim one could make. As the town believes they can be converted and might go after higher priority targets and the mafia is sided with them so they have No reason to kill them. I felt saying you were a traitor was the safest move for me with the least chance of backfiring.
As for the reason I picked you. I'm not entirely sure I guess it was a bit of a hatpick in the end but my gut was telling me something was odd about the way you were playing and I guess I really wanted to see how you'd react.

It isn't in my interest to share those at the time when the mafia can factor them directly into the night kills. And If I don't state them the doctors chance on correctly protecting an ally can drop significantly

now is a good time to go after the Illusionist, we need to work together and try to figure out who it is.
I kind of think raxo is the Illusionist, he's been one of those people who has been lower activity in the category of active players, he makes a lot of posts but often it feels like those are just small 1 or 2 sentence posts that aren't really intended to help out. I don't know if anyone else noticed this but he's also very quick to agree with people which is a very easy way to keep people from pointing fingers at you. The reason that's important is because the Illusionist as sephhh mentioned earlier isn't really against either side, they would be okay toying with both sides (probably agreeing to important arguments on both sides without taking much notice onto them) as they need to have nobody pointing fingers at them. maybe it's just an idea at this point but I'd like to hear what all of you think.
