For one. If the "overseers" really aren't the mafia, then why didn't the mafia kill them? What mafia member wouldn't want to take out a major pr the first night? The first logical conclusion is that they are in fact the mafia, so neither died, and the second that the mafia is trying to convince us that the first is true.
And for two, Iggy, one of these so-called overseers, gave such obvious clues that he was part of the mafia, and used the claim to save his skin. And even then he fumbled it. Role PMs are meant to be clear, if I'm not mistaken. How can you possibly misread one? He claimed vanilla town and then latched onto a suggestion of what his action could be.
If this really does turn out to be a ploy by the mafia, I'm going to be either laugh or cry because you all fell for such an obvious trick.
It seems pretty legit with him saying he didn't know voting someone out was a power.

Well that question doesn't make much sense really. So let me throw in a counterquestion: If the "overseers" really are Mafia, then why didn't they kill anyone?

You're saying because no Overseer died that they are therefor Mafia? Well you didn't die should I call you Mafia too? We don't know who the mafia targeted, for all we know they did target an overseer.

if overseers were indeed mafioso, then they have the option of not killing anyone in order to set in place a wifom loop much like the one you have proposed

interestingly, there have been no successful vig/sk kills as of yet

also, the first vote of the day

So first night and we got no deaths.... interesting. I suppose that the night was probably fairly complicated, considering how it took so many days ta get sorted out. Out of curiosity, is anyone in a night-chat (like the inns)?
And what does everyone think about there being no deaths? Are we dealing with cultists, or did our doctor(s)/role-blocker(s) get lucky? What're people opinion/thoughts on this?
I personally feel that it could have gone either way. There's not a high chance of a doctor/role-blocker succeeding like this early on, but it's possible and there were two large targets that they may have gone for. Then again, we didn't have any serial killer kills, so does that mean we got lucky on that too or do we not have one? Or we could have a cult. I feel like that we'd probably need even a little bit more information before we can get an idea of what we're dealing with, and whether we got fortunate last night or we're dealing with something worse, which means we'll need to see if anyone has information that they'd like to share.

I would suggest that a roleblocker who successfully used their ability last night come forward as to who they blocked as it could provide some insight.

Of course it could be completely useless information aside from exposing you to the aggressive party, so using some judgement here would be implored

With the large number of players in this game I think there would be a large possibility of a doctor. Maybe them alongside other roles somehow managed to block all kills? It seems highly unlikely but we can rule out anything.
I was going to say more but phones are to hard to type on ;-;

More if a day action
interesting

Dessern5 - spontaneous/no reasoning : "But yes"
midnightgirl24 - admittedly rushed, but no reasoning given
chicken23456789 - no reasoning at all
Ltin - spontaneous / no reasoning, also previously warned others about the (negligible) dangers of lynching day 0
raxo2222 - no reasoning other than lack of fos's, without allowing time for such hunches to form
Mad11gab8 - declares nothing productive to be happening just as the nonsense period begins to end
77 - voted to have lunch, is listed as voting no-lynch (no reasoning)
Faliara - only reason was heeding Fruit's post, which I couldn't easily/conveniently track down (tapatalk ftw)
Iggy - threw the spotlight on himself by saying he was voting to avoid attention

Up there are all the no-lynch posts, relatively devoid of convincing reasoning
digging this up for potential fos stuffs for the other players rereading
kudos to jivvi for highlighting this

So you're like a mayor or something? And as for the roleblocker outing (that is if there even is a roleblocker), I don't think they'll last long with the vig council or whatever they are, already claimed. So I would say not to claim just yet, that's my two cents.

I am interested in hearing what went down in this council meeting so if iggy or oak could speak up, that'd be great.

I'm starting to get a strong fos on Caff, she jumped on Iggy yesterday and now she's trying to use the fact there were no kills last night to have iggy lynched today. In my experience (both as town and as former mafia) The innocent townies who are analyzing night deaths in a closed setup return nothing (because there is rarely anything to logically deduce) but the mafia will sometimes make plans around the nights deaths and spin them in such a way to hopefully lynch someone. Unless it offers a strong statistical advantage or logical evidence, which this case does not, It is almost Always the person who's trying to make an argument off the nights deaths.

I really think maybe we should take a closer look at caffeinatedkitty

are you a cop or investigative role
and, if so, did you use that ability on caff yesterday to get a result matching your suspicions

Sooo putting my FoS down under a microscope and trying to think logically now means I'm mafia. OK

It seems I wasn't as discrete as I'd hoped to be. I'm a little bothered by the fact that you've outed two power roles in under an hour (assuming Jivvi is a town sided power role)

Either way, Yes I am the cop. on day1 I was looking for people to investigate and almost every was acting (somewhat) within the range of how I'd expect them to act with caffeinatedkitty sticking out the most. For that reason I investigated caffeinatedkitty and she turned up mafia.

Since I'm claiming there's no reason I shouldn't vote for a confirmed mafia.
