What, Blocktopia needs a racing server XD

Although it would be pretty damn awesome to have a Minecraft racing server, it would be too reliant on external plugins, in my opinion.

... If anything, this would be an amazing event server, which I'm sure is what most of us are thinking. If my Minecraft doesn't lag so much, I would mind some Pig Kart Racing, 100 Block Racing, and Horseback Riding.

Edit: What am I thinking? I just posted some vanilla videos of racing! We don't need no fancy shmancy plugins!

Yeah I mean.... but Pig racing is too.... Complicated.... Horse Racing is cool :D and if we have a Footrace server that'd be cool with some parkour parts and etc :D

Maybe Blocktopia could make a temp server. Have it up for a week or two and then see how the community likes it. Then ask/see how often and how long would people will play on it. Based off that and how the Admins think of it, decide if this has potential to be a long term server or if it's just a short term event.

The problem with this idea is funds and hours to put it together. Maybe for the funds, just up the donations for the month just to cover the week or two that the experiment server is up. Hours of work... I don't think there is any easy option for that.
