Hi so I've talked with some of you about tattoos before and I was pretty surprised to find that a lot of you were interested in it, so.
I'll begin by asking some questions

QUESTION 1NION: Do you have any tattoos? If yes, what tattoos do you have, where and what do they represent.

QUESTION 2NADO: Have you ever designed a tattoo, and do you plan on getting a tattoo in the future, and if so what do you want to get tattooed and where.

you guys can also talk about body modification in general if you want. (piercing, gauging etc)

I don't have any tattoos yet, but I've designed a few for friends.
I was into scarification for a while, I have this spiral-ey design on my hip. inb4 people think I'm a psycho
I want to get a drawing that I made a while back tattooed on my shoulder blade, it's a drawing of this bro in front of a huge-ass door that opens up into the void, but there's a single planet in front of him. behind him is just a bunch of detailed trees and his shadow stretches behind him pretty far.
I've been experimenting with mendhi, too. I'm gonna stick to this technique until I'm completely certain what I want done.

I'm gonna get a few; b&w bust of bill murray on my foot, one on my left forearm (keeping the design lowkey) & then both my thighs (which im gonna give my friend creative liberty on when he gets certified)

Tattoos can sometimes be pretty, but when they are too big, or when people have too much, or when its just not fitting/ugly then I think its a terrible terrible decision. I'll never get one.

Tattoos are cool looking and all and hey if you like them enough to get one then go for it. For me though personally, I just can't see myself with one. I just think it's too much work as in if I want to get it removed. You have to go through very very painful process of laser removal which from the stories of a friend of mine is possibly one of his top 10 most painful experiences in his life.

So with the stories of how much they hurt to get removed and my own stupidity ending up in me choosing a stupid tattoo that'd I would hate 10 seconds later. I won't be getting one and to be honest, I'd recommend some serious consideration into tattooing yourself EVER. Marking your body is definitely not a decision you can make off a one night feeling.

i have designed one for my dad three years ago, he got that done, however still needs the colouring finished. i also got to sign it with the gun! (i really want to become a tattooist when i'm older) another person i know wants to have one of my drawings tattooed on her back, so that's cool C:

i really really want tattoos when i'm old enough, i would love a tim burton styled arm sleeve(s), it would be my dream to have watercolour styled tim burton sleeves. i'd also like a tattoo of a fox, maybe on my thigh, i'm not too sure where yet. but i love foxes, i think they're super beautiful.

I've seen people get them on the back of their hands. A few on the side of fingers. To legit have tattoos on the palm of your hands, I don't know?

I have quite the collection of body modifications, such as tattoos and piercings. I used to have a stretched ear (lmao yeah just one ear) that was 1" (25mm) but they got a gnarly infection from me changing some things that I washed my laundry with, particularly my pillow cases (yes, that can happen). So now I'm down to about a 2g(6mm). As for my tattoos, they're not huge pieces because yes, tattoos hurt and of course there's a stigma associated with it when it comes to jobs and social appearances, also they cost a lot. Most of the pieces I can hide, and they're relatively small- the smallest one took 2/3 minutes.
But I'll just keep a little list of all my body modifications, except my tattoos probably. I'll also include some old ones.

I like temporary tattoos. The fact that they're permanent( unless you remove it with lasers pew pew) bothers me, I can't really commit to that. Maybe in the future there can be some invention to easily erase and add tattoos? Hm..

I absolutely love tattoos, and have a couple selected for when I'm old enough and have the cash.

I want to have "Love" on one of my wrists (not because I'm lovedaice but because personal reasons), I want a heart on my hand somewhere, maybe between my thumb and index finger.

For other stupid reasons which I won't talk about on the forums I want "217" (my area code) somewhere on my torso, maybe on my chest/over my heart. I'd love to get like a web with a black widow in the centre on my upper arm as well. Maybe like when you see those people with words on their fingers, I'd like to have "Aika" (roughly translated to love-song if i'm not mistaken).

I wanna get sleeves. Not for a while though. Maybe start off with more sentimental ones, on the back and or calfs, but I want full sleeves eventually.

I drew some basic tattoo designs a while ago, for no reason in particular. I don't plan on using any of them, was just drawing.

I'll definitely save up the money for good tattoos (i've heard stories in my school of letting other students do their tattoos, and it's just scary O_O like how stupid are you).

I'm not sure if I want sleeves, or a bunch of different tattoos on my arms, but same difference in the long run.

i want a simple black and white design smaller than a one pence piece on my wrist, so it's easily hidden by shirt cuffs or a watch. Nothing overtly artistic or visible just because I don't dig that.

Tattoos are awesome, but they need to have meaning, or at least look really nice. I like the detailed ones that look like they should be framed. Black and white is awesome too though, actually I really just like tattoos in general.
