I think you shouldn't get tattoos unless they either have a meaning to you or look amazing. If youre going to get something like that that's that permanent, it should be the best quality you can possibly afford. I think people that get cheap tats. like poorly drawn ones etc, generally regret getting them later.

To be honest I want two half sleeves and a large piece on my back. I've found a great artist in my area, and know pretty well what I want. Theyre seen by appointment only and charge $120 per hour if you can't get your piece done in one sitting.

I see old people with them all the time. Some look worse than others. I think it vastly depends on personal circumstance and how you take care of yourself, your skin, and your tattoo.

I think once I'm older I'll get some sentimental really small tattoos, but I'm quite sensitive to pain so idk. I also really like the idea of having angel wings on your back but I mean fhgnwkbzsrg.

I'm a huge fan of facial piercings but probably wouldn't get one myself because I'm sensitive to pain as i said and I just don't think they'd suit me :I

Sadly, people in 2014 still judge others upon their tattoos. People with tattoos get rejected more often than people without tattoos, people with tattoos get questioned a lot and get judged (non constructive judgement ) upon it immediately without even giving them a chance to see the person that owns these tattoos- stereotypes. Personally I know people that have tattoos & body modifications and they're probably nicer than most people I've met.

Tattoos are pretty much a permanent thing that will last on your skin forever; for good or for bad. Personally I like how some tattoos look on other people but I don't want a tattoo (currently, at-least ). I think if someone wants to get a tattoo, go for it! You don't always need a deep meaning behind a tattoo, if you like how something looks, and you want it to be a part of you then go bonkers. But sometimes, if you're sad or happy, you'll make decisions that you might regret later. I say if you've been thinking about a tattoo for a while, and you're certain you want to get one, and you're ready to face the consequences in the future, then enjoy your art.

I don't have experience with tattoos- like I said, but if someone is looking forward to getting a tattoo, make sure you're paying for quality; don't just go to the cheapest tattoo artist- a tattoo is going to stay forever on your skin, it's going to be worth all the money you spend, quality tattoos aren't cheap.

PS.
Charles Trippy's tattoos are awesome.

since people mentioned piercings too now..
i have never left a single piercing of mine out (apart from my first septum, because it was pierced terribly wrong.. and ouuuuch)
Left Ear
Lobe x3
Helix x3
Antihelix x1
Snug x1
Rook x1

Right Ear ( i really need more on this one )
Lobe x3
Helix x1

Face
Middle labret
Dahlia bites
Septum
Right nose (this will be double nose on Saturday, maybe Monday)

Left ear
Anti helix x1 (maybe 2 who knows :33)
Maybe another snug (but these get infected easily, and infected snugs are very painful and you will have an elephant ear)

Right ear
Helix x2
Antihelix x3
Conch x2 (ok i'll only get two if i can handle the pain because i am a huge wimp and this is why i ended up with one nose piercings not two in one go)

Face
Medusa
I'd also like to double up on my nose piercing(soon to be piercingS) to have two both side, eventually. Probably for my birthday in February, if I get too impatient, which I probably will.
tl;dr i currently have 18 piercings and want like 500000 more still
