"Others suspect me"
You mean notty, the person who was trying to push a lynch on you because mafia couldn't refer to each other using their full name.

"Others suspect me"
You mean notty, the person who was trying to push a lynch on you because mafia couldn't refer to each other using their full name.
Besides I have pretty reasonable reasons to suspect you. You called me out for not reading the start up page but at the same time didn't know about the mafia ability to kill based on name. You also tried and I guess succeed in me spilling my town name despite there being no real benefits to me doing so.
Calling you out for not reading the page had nothing to do with your alignment I was just making a joke
And no I didn't try and succeed in making you spill your name, I genuinely forgot about that
You might be telling the truth, but you might also be feigning ignorance which would make more sense for someone who I would assume would learn the mechanics well pre and during game.
I read over the possible list of roles/traits once, why do you think I learnt it all 'well'
You did your whole charade thing which you're claiming was an actual attempt to get reads on people, but it feels more to me as an attempt to redisguise yourself as a townie after early game suspicion as you have been known to do similar strats in previous games.
except I wasn't suspected early game? I became suspected as a result of doing that
only difference is those strats actually had a way to coerce people into reacting a certain way, either taking advantage or acting out of ignorance. This strat however, achieved neither of this. Because there was nothing to take advantage of. It was either you were lying for some reason (which you were) or you had a speech trait. Either way I fail to see how this could out scum trying to take advantage of the situation.
mafia could easily have jumped at the opportunity to bandwagon me if a bandwagon actually started, which I was expecting it to but cut it short since I realized it was annoying people and this game should primarily be about having fun. the whole point of it was to get a bandwagon and see how everyone jumped on and see if I could spot anyone being opportunistic instead of thinking it through
furthermore as claire has pointed out you seemed to jump onto the comp train and pushed it a bit too proactively which I do stand by despite the earlier danni post saying he'd prefer it.
'jump onto the comp train' - I started the comp train myself, not to lynch him but to make lurking a bad option for mafia in future games, as I said at the time
It felt far too hasty and far too dramatic.
again it wasn't hasty it was after almost 24 hours (a whole sleep + whole day) of the game, I was bored and saw danni/hk talking about how they find it annoying having active people lynched so came up with the idea to change that. don't really understand what you mean by 'dramatic'
and as soon as it fell through you immediately jumped onto me and started pushing and trying to rally people to lynch me.
except that isn't what happened, I didn't jump on you 'as soon as it fell through', I made it fall through by switching to you first since comp felt fine and my intention was never to lynch him anyway, only get him to talk and make a decision from there
You already said you vibe me as town, I am clearly active and having a big impact on the game.
If I was a townie it would be a big blow for town to lose me... yet you persist.
I have a light vibe on you as town, I believe the word I used was 'kinda' townie. yes you're active but your 'big impact' is just tunnelling me so from my perspective it's not like I think you've proven yourself useful enough to keep around
you say you'd be a big blow for town and that you've claimed to be a good role but I have no way of knowing that and I don't find you convincing when you say that
Regardless of whether you're mafia or not, what you have been doing and are still doing is clearly anti-town.
So if you don't want to butt heads with me, you should really reconsider how you're acting.
I don't believe it's anti town. the fundamental thing here is that I want to lynch someone. so I have many options, there's 20-whatever people I could choose from. sure I could choose a lurker but I've already succeeded in making lurking a bad idea for mafia to do with the comp wagon so the only reason I'd do that is just because they're unhelpful. sure that's a valid reason, but you're also, in my eyes, unhelpful so far because I predict you'll just keep tunnelling me until I'm mislynched and then get mislynched yourself - which might not be a fair assumption of me to make but that's how I feel - and not only that, there's also the bonus incentive that there are a few people who are convinced you're suspicious. I'm a believer in intuition so although I'm not seeing it personally, I'm not strongly seeing you as town either, and maybe they're onto something. so you being an annoyance to me + other people being suspicious of you makes you seem like a fine lynch to me.
You have been swaying with the popular vote, and am currently after Aqua... Yet, didn't you say you wanted a lurker lynched today? I don't even stand by inactive lynches on Day Zero (Sorry uht,) as not everyone wants to read this hot mess that happens every game... :<
No, I never said I wanted to lynch a lurker today
And wanting someone today really doesn't make too much sense to me, as we honestly have nothing to go on-- Except this sudden role claim out of no where...
Voting for Aqua doesn't really feel logical or reasonable. I understand wanting him out of the game, because he's annoying, but how someone plays doesn't always determine what they are. I had decided to play different the last few games I had played, regardless of any role I had then, as playing differently was a fun idea, as everyone here has likely either played together, or has read games with each of us in it... Except the newbies, unless they read some past games. x)
But I digress, I actually just haven't particularly trusted your gameplay, seemingly chaotic in nature, but attempting to keep the peace as you attempt to get someone, anyone, lynched. You haven't been consistento with your thoughts, suddenly lynching Aqua after perceiving him townie with vibes, and I don't trust it.
the reason I want to lynch someone is because it gives us valuable information as a starting point to town since we can analyze the bandwagon tomorrow and get a lot of valuable reads from it.
I'd agree my gameplay is chaotic in nature but why does that make me mafia if like you said yourself, the way people play doesn't always determine what they are?
and yes I did say I thought he was acting kinda townie but I also said I'm willing to be proven wrong on that. I'm not saying 'I think aqua is town', I'm saying 'he's vibing kinda town but I could easily be wrong and others are convinced I am so sure I'd be okay with seeing him lynched'
