77thShad and @anyone else who wants to keep notty alive to kill omni tonight - how about this: we kill notty today, we lynch omni tomorrow, and in the meantime get our investigates on omni tonight to make sure we're not rushing into a mistake killing omni
Theres no reason for this when we can lynch a scum today (you) and kill a scum tonight (Omni) and have a lynch tomorrow.

alright I'm not super happy with this roob wagon, mostly because TWG is on it, so I'm just gonna bolster this notty one, and I'll switch onto the roob one if necessary to save my life
How convenient you change your mind when people aren't jumping on the badnwagon, because you're desperate to save Omni it seems or Roob what do I know they're your Law intentions.

the only benefit to letting notty live tonight to kill omni is that we don't have to use a lynch on him another day, but we're on day 1, we have plenty of time to use one day to lynch omni, it's not going to have a significant impact on the game if we skip that and let notty take him out instead, and if by chance omni is town, this gives our pr's a chance to find that out and we'd be in a better spot if we found that out tonight and let him live than if we rushed in to kill him via notty and lost a town member
"The only benefit" is ignoring that I am your unCC'd vigilante and youre parading around like its a fact that I'm antitown when it's anything but. YOU may think I'm anti-town but I am our vigilante and others don't have to believe your nonsense. And let me just add not only keeping your vigilante alive is a giant benefit but we also get a shot at Omni like you mention here as the only benefit. This 'if by any chance Omni is town' does not extend to me by any chance I am town? Because I'm telling you right now that chance is 100%. I know what you're going to say 'but im not parading this around as facts its my opinions' except you clearly are parading it around as facts just check the bold partsand tell me where you say that this is your opinion not you trying to manipulate people by presenting false facts which stern from your 'belief' that I'm Third Party.

so again the only benefit of not lynching notty today is to get her to kill omni so that we can focus our lynch elsewhere, but 1) we may as well investigate omni first, 2) spending tomorrow lynching omni won't significantly impact the game so it's no real downside, 3) it potentially saves my life, for those of you who town read me
Conveniently ignoring that I could be town and presenting it as if it's confirmed I'm third party by not also mentioning the benefit of me possibly being our town vigilante, which I am BTW.

1) We don't have to my kill is essentially a second lynch and might I remind you not a single person has bargained for Omni's life. This includes Omni himself so it's a town concensus here that Omni should die. Any town member would jump at the opportunity to have what is essentially a second lynch especially when nobody has objected to said second lynch.

2) It won't? You literally just talked that Omni might be town so 'it's no real downside' is a trash argument because clearly there could be a downside. It could be there when I kill Omni tonight too but difference is we won't waste an entire day on it since I can do it during the night. This is a game of Mafia where we have to take out the enemies faster than they take out us, we're limited to 1 lynch a day and a nightkill can give us that extra kill that nobody objected against. Taking that away is taking away some of the power the town has.

3) Valid point, counts for me too for those of you who town read me.

77thShad you said we should have an investigative like a tracker keep an eye on her - if she's an arsonist like I think she is, she'll do the smart thing and not visit anyone anymore until the tracker is dead, so doing something that won't clear her either, because seeing whether she visits others in the future or not won't determine if she's truly 1-shot vigilante, and it would mean we have to waste our tracker being on her every night instead of potentially catching other scum for us, just so that we can keep notty alive just in case she's a 1-shot vigilante (with no more powers anyway after tonight so there's less value keeping her around anyway)
This is stupid why would I not visit anyone untill the tracker is dead? You have argued the entire day that killing Omni won't prove my alignment yet now you argue that I am actually not going to kill Omni at all and instead not use my action? Are you crazy the smart play is to just ignite Omni if I were the arsonist what you're doing now is a manipulation tactic to try and swing 77's vote with again false info.

Speaking of manipulation tactics might I remind you and everyone that you were also personally tagging everyone during the Aqua lynch and look how that turned out. This might be how you rally your lynches but continuously tagging everyone saying they should consider lynching me is manipulation at best.

so that's what I'm proposing we do - lynch notty today, then tomorrow we lynch omni, unless by chance an investigative can verify his claim and he seems town sided based off of it

I'm perfectly happy to leave TWG alive for a while longer and join the lynch omni wagon tomorrow for those of you who are confident he's scum, so I'll support that wagon tomorrow if I'm still alive

sound good? let me know what you think about it - pretty sure this is our best bet today

vote Notty
No it really doesn't sound good, it sounds like you're trying to kill the towns 1-shot vigilante while giving 0 consideration I might actually be town. If you read my third party great, more power to you but dont present it as if it's a fact because its very much not. Our best bet is lynching you today not the least because jail is a thing Law people do and also you've been acting scummy and manipulatice towards me this entire day.

Ohno we're back to making long posts, feel free to respond but I'll try and keep my next response to whatever you say small so people don't have to read a ton of useless back and forth of you claiming there is no actual benefit to keep me alive and me calling you out.

I wrote up a post but now that Notty posted before me, and I felt that she explained it better than I did. Yet this part of Inffy's post caught my attention, and I can't let this be unnoticed:
even if notty is town vigilante, notty is never going to survive because too many of us are confident she's scum and she can't prove herself town, and if notty kills omni and he's mafia that still won't prove her town, so she's still going to die at some point, so saving notty's life is just delaying the inevitable in my opinion
I just can't...

"Hey I'm sorry you're the cop, but you're inevitably going to die, so we're lynching you to not waste time"

"Yeah, we're lynching the doctor, why? Because they're gonna die this night anyways, so why not spare some and lynchthem now"

if people believe you're a 1 shot vigilante like you claim, sure, there's an incentive to keep you alive, although not much of one - if they let you live, after tonight you're basically a vanilla town with enough suspicion racked up against you that you'll be lynched soon anyway because quite a few of us are convinced you're third party

the "if by chance omni is town we should let investigatives confirm that" doesn't extent to you, no, because I'm convinced you've claimed your true powers - meaning a power inspector won't catch you out - and I'm convinced you'll withold from future visits until the tracker is dead. so investigating you would be a waste unless we had a cop, which we don't

omni is different though because he could have very town-sided powers that we can verify

1) We don't have to my kill is essentially a second lynch and might I remind you not a single person has bargained for Omni's life. This includes Omni himself so it's a town concensus here that Omni should die. Any town member would jump at the opportunity to have what is essentially a second lynch especially when nobody has objected to said second lynch.
nobody has bargained for his life because we don't have any information on him, but that could change if we investigate him tonight and learn his powers. saying 'taking the time to investigate him is unnecessary because none of us are defending him' doesn't make sense.

2) It won't? You literally just talked that Omni might be town so 'it's no real downside' is a trash argument because clearly there could be a downside. It could be there when I kill Omni tonight too but difference is we won't waste an entire day on it since I can do it during the night. by 'no downside to lynching omni tomorrow' I meant that it wouldn't suddenly get us into MYLO, so the incentive of 'we can lynch omni during the night though so we don't have to waste it tomorrow', isn't much of an incentive because it's so early in the game and we have plenty of time to lynch omni during the day, and it'd be in fact better to do that since we give our investigatives a chance to make sure he's not town PR

This is stupid why would I not visit anyone untill the tracker is dead? You have argued the entire day that killing Omni won't prove my alignment yet now you argue that I am actually not going to kill Omni at all and instead not use my action? Are you crazy the smart play is to just ignite Omni if I were the arsonist what you're doing now is a manipulation tactic to try and swing 77's vote with again false info.
no, I meant after today, I do think you'll ignite omni yes, I'm talking about if 77thShad wants a tracker on you after today to make sure you don't visit anyone else to verify your claim as a 1-shot vigilante with no more visits, I'm saying that if you're third party arsonist you'll just not visit anyone anymore until the tracker dies and hope you get away with it, so his plan won't catch you out, and it'll just make us use up our tracker every night for no reason when we could be using it elsewhere

Speaking of manipulation tactics might I remind you and everyone that you were also personally tagging everyone during the Aqua lynch and look how that turned out. This might be how you rally your lynches but continuously tagging everyone saying they should consider lynching me is manipulation at best.
this itself is a manipulation tactic, this has nothing to do with my argument at all, you're bringing up that I was wrong about aqua to get people to not join me this time - it's irelevant to the point, it's just you throwing your arms about saying 'inf was wrong before, don't listen again!' which is an illogical argument and you know it, just because I was wrong about aqua doesn't mean I'll be wrong about you

and you were way more convinced aqua was scum than I was until he claimed, so this is just hypocritical

No it really doesn't sound good, it sounds like you're trying to kill the towns 1-shot vigilante while giving 0 consideration I might actually be town. you've claimed 1-shot vigilante, so after tonight you'll be useless anyway, so after tonight, presuming we let you live, you'll be a vanilla town claim who a decently large amount of people in the game distrust to the point they want you lynched - you're not going to survive for very long anyway

no, there's a very big difference between the examples you've just given now and what I'm saying

notty is going to die. if not today, tomorrow after she kills omni - if not tomorrow, the day after. and in the meantime, she'll offer us nothing. after tonight she'll be a vanilla townie who can't even do anything - the only value she offers is to kill omni, which we can do on our own with very little drawbacks.

in the examples you gave, lynching a cop because they're going to die anyway would be stupid because they'd be able to keep giving us valuable information before they died - and the doctor would be able to keep protecting people

notty isn't going to be very useful to us, she's going to die soon anyway, we may as well take her out now

And if people town-read him someone would of asked me to reconsider killing him but alas nobody. However you look at it it's practically a town vote that says 'I'm not stopping you go ahead' because people want to know the result because nobody particularly town-reads him.

Saying it's a manipulation tactic to call out your manipulation tactics is just an excuse to try and not be held accountable for your actions that im calling you out for.

"Useless" in no way is my scum hunting ability useless just like any other vanilla towny in this game I can participate through my vote. + After killing Omni and him flipping Mafia people can think 'wow Notty was right and now I see that a town vigilante would infact act exactly like Notty did' because thats how reads work.

The only way I die is if the town wants to lynch their 1-shot vigilante. Saying that after killing Omni I'm useless and will die anyways is not a valid argument to lynch me now unless you can predict a future where people randomly lynch their town vigilante. We might aswell take you out now for all you've said and done

Ohhhh, I see what you mean - you're under the assumption that we'll lynch notty today or any later days. I mean, if Omni flips mafia, she's pretty much proven in my book, unless someone has good evidence that she is scum.

There's a drawback about us lynching Omni and that is that we essentially lose a day on lynching Omni, when we could have Notty kill him for us.

Also what do you mean she's not useful? If Omni flips mafia, she's essentially the same as proven as our cop is dead.

I see your main point though.

I'm not saying I'm against killing him. I'm saying there's no drawback to killing you first, then killing him tomorrow, and in fact it could be better that way since for all we know he is town and our PRs can figure that out before we kill him.

the only minor drawback is that it'd make us spend another day lynching omni instead of someone else, but this is day 1, we have plenty room for that

Saying it's a manipulation tactic to call out your manipulation tactics is just an excuse to try and not be held accountable for your actions that im calling you out for.
nobody's going to buy into this

I guess if you were town then sure you wouldn't be completely useless

but no omni flipping mafia won't make you suddenly town vigilante material, because third party arsonist would do exactly the same thing as well

and yes, the drawback you mention here of 'losing a day on lynching omni' is a minor drawback, but again it's day 1, we have plenty of room for doing that - and not only is it only a minor drawback, waiting that extra day may even reveal to us that omni is town and save us from losing 1 more of our team

it's day 1, it's a very minor drawback at best, and in fact may be a huge positive if omni does happen to be town because we spent a night investigating him to be sure

Whose going to investigate him? Fali? What good is power investigation gonna do unless like you he also has a law ability
for example, if a power investigation hit aqua, they'd have found out he was a doctor role - mafia are very unlikely to have a doctor role

omni could have powers that mafia are unlikely to have

TWG can you explain to me why, if notty kills omni and omni flips mafia, she is proven town to you? and why she isn't third party arsonist?
Okay. It wouldn't make sense from Notty's perspective. There'd be an 83% (or whatever the percentage was) chance that there's a vigilante in this setup who would know that she's lying - and would kill her during the night. It would only take one report - whether it'd be a watcher report, tracker report, roleblocker, or anything else to realise that she's the arsonist, if she was caught - it's basically game over for her. You would also have to consider that after she claimed she'd be 3rd party arsonist suspect nr. 1.

I don't see a point in her claiming to be vigilante if she's 3rd party arsonist
and yes, the drawback you mention here of 'losing a day on lynching omni' is a minor drawback, but again it's day 1, we have plenty of room for doing that - and not only is it only a minor drawback, waiting that extra day may even reveal to us that omni is town and save us from losing 1 more of our team
what you call a "minor drawback" is what actually could be the diffrence between town winning and town losing in the end.

The lynch is town's strongest weapon, I do not want it wasted on stuff we don't need to waste it on.

if omni was an important town, he'd be fighting harder for his life

I disagree, I mean if omni was any role ordinarily he'd be fighting harder for his life, his motivation to fight is 0 so regardless of what role he has it's strange
an allignment investigation likely doesn't exist anymore + it would be a waste since the information is just as easily obtained by letting notty ignite him
we don't need an alignment investigation to investigate omni

and the information would be useless if we obtain it by killing him first, the whole point is to make sure we're lynching mafia as opposed to town, so that doesn't make sense
