Tossing around the idea of another map making competition

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I have a huge announcement to make..... well, not just yet. I need some input from you guys!


Due to the recent opening of the new map factory, and my return to Zombie Survival, I'd like to pitch the idea of another map making competition to you guys. I am interested in seeing who would want to participate, what would be some good themes, and possibly prizes (if we did the competition). What do you guys think?

Thanks for the input from you two. If interested, I would love to hear ideas for a theme about the competition also, which was a problem the last time we did it. Something that is pretty broad and would be interesting to everyone.

If I can remember correctly, the last build was a fantasy/historical theme. However, an adventure/horror theme sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Maybe a spring theme, in honor of the upcoming season?

A spring theme would sound alot nice. =D
And a winter theme, in my opinion would sound alot nice, honor of the current season, and maybe even an easter theme, but it would be too soon.

For the spring theme, I already have something in mind for that. Just a hint for it: It'll be kinda like my TnT map that ended up missing the deadline, but with improvements.

If we do that, I am going back to my original idea of a Pikmin map. :]

You know, I'd probably say this would be a bad idea since we just *sorta* had a zombie competition and are in the process of making another one. So it would be a good idea but for a later time, But theres this map idea I have that I've been itching to make so I'd be down for a zombie map competition :D , also I hope the theme will be either a video game theme or a summer theme.

I've been thinking that because this seems not to be all that popular, that we host the ULTIMATE map-making competition, in which users can create maps for a classic server of their choosing. There will be overall ranking with prizes, and specific server ranking with little in-game bonuses that users can receive.
