Consider this my "hey guys i've been up till 7am" post. But i wanted to pass on two quick points on admins
a.) Don't be scared to criticise or question. I understand that in the past it may have felt best to keep your head low and deal with problems, but as long as you phrase any criticism or questioning in a respectful manner, and accept the final outcome one of us will happily defend your right to express that opinion - it's only when you try to start arguments, insult, or generally act like a grumpy teenager it tends to spiral off. (Don't get the wrong idea from this - if we say no, it means no. Just don't be scared of an admin attacking you for it.)
b.) And this is more.. 'niche', stop sucking up, please. We get it, we're top of the rank hierarchy. Fantastic. But that doesn't mean you have to stalk us liking each one of our posts in the rare off chance it'll actually make us like you - Me and, i'm fairly sure, other admins would gladly take one person who we could sit, chill out with, have a lighthearted discussion and who would give an honest opinion if asked over a thousand people trying to tell us how amazing we are. I've picked controllers in the past over other staff who may have been more able to run the server software in the past, why? Because the person picked was happy to express their honest opinion and sit down and have a fun chat - rank didn't even account into the matter.
Tl;dr
> Be brave, express concern, criticism, or questions when necessary - just be respectful.
> Get your tongue out our arses if its in there. You only damage how we view you by sucking up to us.
> 1 Staff member who voices an honest opinion is worth several thousand who suckup (you know who you are).
This isn't applicable to everyone but I know a fair few who fit into both criteria.
