Settlement Description:
We are a quickly growing desert town, built around a pregenerated underground dungeon-like construct. There are three very tall sandstone towers with stairwells inside, and several underground installations including housing and a mine. We are planning to completely renovate the above ground portion in the coming weeks, including a remodel of the exterior walls.

We currently have established a good canal route to Elysia, and also have begun work on an underground rail link that will lead south to Narcotia.

Why should your settlement be a City?:

Our settlement is a wonderful place to visit if you intend to take a trip south. We will soon be a prominent transportation hub, as we will be at the crossroads of the canal system and the WIP rail line. We have a relatively active group, and also one of the biggest groups.

Bonus Lore:

Here, on this shallow plateau in the vast desert, rests Veritas, the city between the sands. Within yon sandstone halls, truth and reason dwell. The statues do hold their arms open to the wanderer, and welcome the seeker of knowledge old. But to the demon and the bandit they cross their arms in warning, for the ancient halls of sandstone lie but momentarily above the waves of the sandy sea; As the city once again descends into that crude substance whence it came, ne’er-do-wells will find that the treasure-filled coffers they seek shall have become their tombs.

Hi TheArchiteck,

Veritas looks very promising as a city, especially with all the travel routes, either finished or planned. The core of town lives up to its name and Veritas' pillars create strong landmarks. The structures are rather lacking, but I trust that you will expand them.

Approved.
