[WARNING]Do not put enchanted items or heads in chests

As many of you have noticed, you can not place enchanted items in chests without that the enchant gets removed(same with enderchests). The same is with heads, the names and skins get removed, and its just a steve head.

So this is just a heads up so you wont loose any items. Place your heads, and keep your enchanted stuff in your inventory.

Its possible that Marnixxie knows more about this, and im sure that they are trying to find a solution to this.

Am aware of the bug, and as far as I know none of the configs is causing this.

I can confirm that this wasn't an issue yesterday, as I've had an enchanted book in chest from day 0 and moved it yesterday to another chest.

My enchanted wooden sword that I put in a chest still has the enchant on it. Does the enchant get removed when you remove the item from the chest?

What happened to me, and others, was that we placed an item (most pickaxes) in a chest, and when we checked by later for it, it didnt have the enchant.

Stolen prehaps, and replaced with no enchantments. (If you went away that is from the chest.)

Nope, no logs off that in any of the cases, and it also had the exact same durability.

Bad chest then? Build a new one and try that.

The items just 'lose' their enchant either after a restart or over time (been on for hours at a time so idk), no mysterious elves are going in swapping out the loot

My items in frames survived the night, so you don't have to carry that silk touch pick around everywhere...
