When did you join TheOne - Blocktopi- EscapeRestart?

I'm curious, since we are 1/12th year in 2016, I decided to make a poll.
I best most people here playing on our servers are from 2012/2013 year.
People from 2011 still being active are mainly (>90%) from zombie survival, right?

I also added tongue in cheek descriptions in polls.
These descriptions are guessed opinions of this community by players, who joined in given year ;^)

I thought all 2010ers and 2009ers are all extinct now. Any cool tales about old times, same with Naterger and chaoticbinary

Dat 2011ers strongly dominating poll. Now I see why someone said, that our community is aging. They all are now 5 years older.

2014. There indeed was CTY in desert, it had glass dome, and was near my clan. It was Dusk of Discordia.

Nice, but I do it about every year to see player drop out/in. Not all people on this list are active on forums/community now.

So it would be Vanilla SMP then.
There was a lot of drama at spawn, do you remember SBG going batshit crazy at end of Vanilla SMP?
SBG was close at spawn. Some guys from here enjoyed that location for constant action, and others hated it for being raided.
TBH Vanilla map was restarted 3 times, what I said was on last map here.

So you are classic guy. How SMP in 2010/first half of 2011 looked like? Were there plugins? I know, that 1Koakuma1 stopped selling kinks in SMP 3 spawn (I spent too much time at SMP 3 spawn, that one before primordia).
SMP 3 was here, when I came to Blocktopia in June 2011 and got premium in August 2011.

I think I arrived during 2010. All I know is that I popped into Classic Zombie Survival on a friend's Minecraft account, Amoriea, and loved playing on the server so much. I was eventually recommended to check out the forums by Jowe, and I soon became a Zombie Op after that.

Those times were full of mindless fun, I'd have to say. Not sure I'd want to go back, though. xD

i started staffing aod 1.0 a year after that
i started staffing aod 2.0 a year after that
should i be concerned (also both years i took a hiatus from may to late july???)

um basically it was classic build comp and xrat was building his usual esoteric eldritch crop circles thingy notch pops in looks at the comp he sees xrat build and starts flipping out about being so creative with such a limited palette and then leaves

Mostly things involving staff drama. Other than that just the good old fashion fun that used to go on in 09/early 10

Staff drama was present in 2011/2012 too :)
If it happens, then I always miss it now.

And by fun mean staff goofing around and plenty of puns/jokes, then it was heavily present in 2011/2012, when you were gone.
Later not so much, as community got less popular.

It was awfully a lot of it in Classic Lava and SMP clans, where lava guys were present.
Lava itself is pretty boring server by itself - all you have to do is build afk box, everything else is optional.
So lava brought chatty/sociable/cooperative type of people.
Other servers... not so much, as there were much more stuff to do, like chasing/blowing/killing people or digging diamonds.
