The testing thing is actually useful. On day 0 and 1 there is almost no information to go from, it can help get new information to place votes or suspicion on people for very small reasons. Very small things can actually indicate that someone is bad and you can look at how the accused and the other people respond to it.
That's not really his point though. What he said is that even though testing as such can be useful in some situations, he doesn't believe that was what you were doing, instead you're just saying it because it's an easy excuse now that people are questioning what you did. While I'm neutral on whether or not you were actually trying to test people or are just saying it now to throw off suspicion, because I don't remember it too well, I do agree with him in that it is an easy excuse that can be applied to almost any situation wheb done correctly, so any instances where that is said should be taken with a grain of salt.

Saying that it could've turn into a bandwagon is nonsense, if people followed me in the vote it would've said something about them. I have actually done the "testing" before in other games, as long as I don't press for a lynch (and it never even got close) I don't know what harm it is doing, it's only forcing people to reply.
The bandwagoning concern is also a legitimate one in my opinion, if a little theoretical rather than practical. If you put forward a fake suspicion merely on the grounds of testing people, some can take that as legitimate and even stick to it after you say it was only a prank, bro test. And it does give scum an easy way to start a bandwagon with a way to point fingers at someone else, should it turn out to be a false accusation.

Before this I assumed you were the last survivor role but now I'm not sure. Why would you help zombies find the suicide bomber? If you think I'm the bomber why would you say it now I'm not close to being lynched. As town you want the zombies to accidentily hit the suicide bomber at night so you don't want to give them ideas who to avoid.
Town also needs to somewhat avoid the suicide bomber when lynching, at least when placing the hammer vote. I think it's good that he outed who he thinks is the Suicide Bomber, otherwise if we should try and lynch you, we might also lose another townie in the process. If he wanted to help the zombies, the only real reason for doing so would've been if he was a zombie himself, and that could've been done much more easily and beneficially in the zombie night chat.

Because Tim and Ender voted quickly on a mafia target it's very likely at least one of them is a zombie. I'm not sure about who I feel worse but my gut kinda says Ender.
Would you have rather I waited until the deadline? I already explained this, Dess was and still is the most logical vote in my opinion, because I'm most sure of him being a scum and because I think we should prefer to lynch a mafioso today, in order to give us better chances for the rest of the game. If anyone can point out anyone they think is a zombie and can back this up with something other than arbitrary gut feelings and arguments about grammar, I might reconsider.

I also remind everyone that the deadline is a little over a day away, so better start thinking about who you're going to vote, if you haven't already.

i guess i kinda space out for a while.... ANYWAY

I don't know that this is a very true statement. If nobody ever takes day 0 seriously, then reactions to "testing people" durring day 0 also cannot be taken seriously.

Wait what other games have you been in?

It seems to me like most of this was just pulled straight out of your buttocks and on to the table. (ew vat u mug thats disgusting)

Well we already agreed that whoever we voted, the second most suspicious person would hammer, so I don't see how Jk pointing out who he thinks the suicide bomber is changed things in that regard.

Anyway uhh Ender could you please explain again why you still think killing mafia is a better idea than zombie if your theory about there only being 2 zombies is incorrect because I'm a bit confused :(

mafia gets an extra kill against the zombies if the zombies hit the suicide bomber, if the goal is to equally diminish their numbers, and it has to be because otherwise one wins while we deal with the other, then it makes more sense to take down a mafia now and hope that the zombies hit the terrorist

if they don't then we're screwed anyways, so i'll at least take the small chance over no chance

But surely the chance of zombies hitting the suicide bomber is pretty much the same chance as mafia being killed by samurai or zombies killing them and if a zombie hits the suicide bomber than that's one mafia and one zombie down so I still don't understand why you think aiming for mafia today has the best possible chance for us unless I'm misunderstanding something.

yes, of course there's a million other things that can go otherwise and it's nearly impossible to figure out the best outcome right now, because we don't know what will happen at night

what i do know is that dess has a higher chance of being scum than anyone else in my opinion and that the mafia get two kills against the zombies versus the zombies getting one kill against the mafia, should everything go the way we want it to go

that's what i'm basing this decision off

it relies hugely on luck, i know, but everything does at this point, so might as well bet on the best lucky outcome, right?

Oh okay I get it now, thanks.

Okay so GAMEPLAN!!!

Zombie Hunter (Faliara) - I personally recommend stalking Ender tonight but that's just me, just do yer thing I guess!

Suspicious Samurai - I guess just be suspicious again if you can and hope Fali doesn't visit you (unless you're someone who thinks Fali will visit them in which case don't be suspicious obviously)

Party Host - Idk how much you know about your role but maybe it's possible your party has a cool effect against anti-town so if you're still out there maybe try it out tonight. If not then I recommend waiting since you can prove you're still innocent by using it later on in the game (assuming when you're infected you lose your ability, that is)

Blacksmith - I'm guessing you're a zombie since nobody seems to have received anything but if not then I guess give fali a vest so she can't die tonight if that's how it works?

I haven't quite decide who to vote out of Ender or Dess, but here's hoping the mafia kill a zombie tonight, or zombie and mafia kill each other or something.

*amazing post that gives really obvious advise for everyone just in case*

This is likely the last chance I'll get to actually sit down and make a post so...Yeah.

My vote will go to Dess, because in my eyes, anti-town is anti-town. I see almost no difference between zombie and mafia. Inb4 people call me a zombie for saying this. I know, I know, a controversial point of view, but let me explain. It's simple, really. The main reason I see people using for wanting to try to lynch a zombie is better than trying to lynch a mafia is because of zombies hit the suicide bomber one of them dies, too. Though the way I see it....Great- The remains true as long as the suicide bomber is alive; killing another mafia doesn't change that at all.

If we narrow the argument down to "We shouldn't lynch anyone who we think is the suicide bomber because the zombies could hit them," (yes, it's an example. Obviously it's a bad argument) then it kind of becomes, "Wait....We should let the mafia member live because they could take out one of us with him?" The obvious solution is to make someone suspicion hammer and...Oh, look, that's what we're going (or at least planning) to do.

So that's why I think lynching a mafia or a zombie is practically exactly the same.

Vote Dessern

As for who should do the hammering, JK or Ooglie is who I'd throw on there.

And rather than the main reason wanting to lynch a zombie being "I don't want to lynch the suicide bomber because he can kill zombies for us" I think it's more "Both Mafia and Zombie have about equal chance to die in the night but Zombie are the more powerful faction and so we should spend our lynch on them rather than the mafia"

Zombie buddies??

In my eyes you are both as suspicious as Dess, presumably anti-town.

The way you talk about Suicide Bomber, one of the largest threats to zombies, is very suspicious to me. Ender trying to talk it good that JK is trying to out the bomber. Timdood saying that we should just lynch Dess because he's mafia even though he may be bomber and even though there is no very convincing arugment Dess is scum. This all doesn't really add up and to me this makes Ltin and Inffy are morely likely to be good. Regarding the switch of my opinion, in the beginning it was hard to tell whether your actions were mindgame or just you trying to do what you think is right, seeing how the others behave made me think you are town.

To be honest that's my theory too, Ender and Tim being #teamUndead

Wait why does it make ltin more likely to be good?

I already thought he was likely town but seeing Ender and Tim acting like this makes them more suspicious which naturally makes you two less suspicious because it fits my theory. It's by no means a guarantee but you two both read town and I think it's important for us to get a good idea of who our town teammates are so we can focus on who from the scum to lynch.

But how is ltin linked to this I'm confused? I understand how I might seem more town to you since I've been throwing shade on Ender and Tim today but how does ltin fit into the theory?

I'm not saying it's the best decision he could've made, but you can't deny that now the town can also use this info to its own advantage and if Jk was a zombie who wanted to help his teammate(s), then it would've made more sense for him to simply wait until the night to keep the info just to the zombies. If anything, it reaffirms my belief that Jk is the Lone Survivor, throwing the info out there for every faction to gain from (mafia gets to know who their buddy is so they don't accidentally kill him, zombies no longer have to worry about the terrorist, which, I agree, is bad, and the Town gets to exercise caution with both nightly visits and daily lynches), so that he can make himself useful for everyone and through that not get killed.

Timdood saying that we should just lynch Dess because he's mafia even though he may be bomber and even though there is no very convincing arugment Dess is scum.
In my opinion the argument against Dess is the only even slightly credible one, but different strokes for different folks, I guess.

This all doesn't really add up
It doesn't add up to you, you mean. The most common way the town fails in most Mafia games is failing to see the game from a different townie's viewpoint and thinking because of that alone they're scum.

To be fair, the way you're protecting Dess now by trying to shove suspicion on me and Tim, whose only crime is agreeing with me and my explanations, has me tingling in all the wrong places. I understand that for some reason I'm the personification of all evil to you guys at the moment, but what's Tim done to make you think he might be in zombies with me? The only thing he did was throw the same entirely reasonable suspicion on Dess as I did and lo and behold, suddenly he's suspicious too. I'm beginning to think you actually might be the suicide bomber trying to divert suspicion off of Dess, who you too believe to be a mafioso, and onto me and Tim, the two players that have so far led the town (and wouldn't that be ironic if the Town's most vocal players and active scumhunters were also its greatest enemy).

i think it's just a simple process of elimination for him: if me and tim are zombies, then everyone else must be good

although that does raise the question of what about the mafia
