Alright. A current problem I've seen with some maps is that there's too much active_lava and their timers don't always work. This is the case for my map, Ritual. Half of the timer doesn't work and it always bothered me. The cause of this is because I used too much active_lava and for some reason one of the blocks in the timer doesn't get activated at the start. All because I wanted a jump course on the map.

Now, I'm sure this could be fixed by using active_cold_water in the jump course, but it wouldn't have the same feel as it does with lava under it. Pretty much my suggestion is to make a type of lava that can kill players, but isn't active and doesn't move (also it would be nice if no one could place blocks in it). Doing this would allow map makers a way to be a bit more creative with their maps without ruining their timers. I've already seen a few maps that initially had this problem, so it's a worthy attempt to make things more interesting.

I suggest replacing hot_lava (not active_hot_lava, seeing how we have a use for that) with this block. Or just making hot_lava kill players if they come in contact. I know I've talked to WinX64 about this before, but... It really would help if we could find a way to do this without breaking anything.

Active_Hot_Lava kills players on DR. In fact, it's what we use for all DR maps. What I'm trying to do is find a way to make Hot_Lava kill on LS rounds, or another block that looks like lava that's inactive (not moving) that can be used to kill players if they step in it.
