Well, what iiDeathCookies said sums it up imo. I honestly agree, Blocktopia is going through its transition to a 100% Premium based community, taking a MASSIVE hit to our playerbase. Also, am I the only one who's noticed that there haven't been many people on servers a lot? Sure, there are times when the servers are filled to the brim and bursting at the seams, but I see more instances of there being only 1 person on AoD and very few on BB and etc. We need to come together and work as a family of Blocktopians...

The decision was not up to the community. Trust me on that not all of us wanted this. But it will be for the best and was done with a reason as was stated in the main post. To quote it

I'm saddened by this. Deadl0ck was indeed a really great guy and honestly an influence and inspiration to me in many ways.
I'm sorry to hear this has happened, you'll be missed Deadl0ck.

This is most certainly surprising. And honestly, for some reason, i checked the calendar to see if Today was April 1st. It is not. I believe we will all find out the reasons eventually, but until then I'm quite speechless.

I remember when the old, old, old forums were here and you could give someone a +1 if you thought they were awesome, like for the reputation system. There was this guy, I forgot his name, and everyone was picking on him because he got banned and made an unban appeal that looked horrid. I told everyone that it was easy to pick on someone if everyone did it.
If you had a problem with Deadl0ck, congratulations. He's banned and can't respond; let it all out. Isn't this exactly what you guys did with Iguana too? Everyone liked him so much, though no one really knew why. When he was gone, all of a sudden he wasn't so popular anymore.

I'm extremely surprised he's been demoted again after the first was so long ago, of which only a small handful of active members would remember, but.. now it's a global ban. I know it probably had to happen, but it's quite unfortunate considering all the time and effort he's put forth, from when he earned his administrator position again up until being, arguably, the staple of our community for years. Whether or not he did his job well is not something we should delve into right now.
I, much like many others, have no clear idea of what lead up to this, so I'll try to remain without an opinion. However, I also consider this a bit of a goodbye thread after his forced removal. Deadl0ck (even if you never read this) -- although I didn't speak to you one-on-one outside of anything Blocktopia-related, you've earned yourself quite a lot of respect from me, for your evident devotion. You're a very intelligent source of information, and I cannot express my gratitude for how long you'd been around. If you can ever come back, I'm anticipating your return. Thank you.
