Also, my jerk parents find the following things I do as issues:
-having a MLP wallpaper (found against my will, they snatched my phone, used my laptop, etc)
-watching Monty Python and Doctor Who ("not normal for an American")
-finding British comedy humourous ("not normal for an American")
Topped off with the fact that my dad saw my Twitter widget and thought that some girl was texting me, this is annoying.
My Android was the best thing ever till Dad decided to snatch it, critisize my wallpaper, comment on my Twitter widget and play all the sexual sounds on my Monty Python soundboard.

We were learning about the Roman social ranking systems today in World History and one of the classes was Equestrian and she said "No, not like the mystical ponies" and I was all like 
"Old people know about My Little Pony? WHAAA?" and my head exploded about 3 seconds later.

I had heard from all large brony news sources that it would be on September 17th, so why is everyone thinking it is on the 16th?
As Jay said, maybe he's an Aussie and it's the 17th for him

I think it goes like this:
~1-2 minutes: Why am I watching this...
~3-10 minutes: I guess I'll have to endure this.
~11-22 minutes: Decent I guess. But I have to remember not to watch more than the pilot.
~23-44 minutes: Kinda good I guess, might as well watch a few more episodes.
~Episodes 3-4: Huh, this is somewhat amusing.
~Episode 5: I love this.
~Episode 6+: I LOVE THIS!
(At least it was more or less like that for me)

To be fair, that is true. Which is why I didn't take "it is a show for people less then 10 about :/" as any sort of statement against the series. Although that doesn't mean us older people can't enjoy it. vati didn't actually say the show SUCKED or anything like that. Heh, even I'M surprised that My Little Pony has become very popular among older people and I have already been assimilated to the herd.

Eh. One of the main reasons why I watch it is because the animation is superb (although the animators have made some mistakes throughout the series) and I'm actually planning on taking animation as a career. The show gives me a good idea what high budget animation is like (of course I know that movies from Pixar, Disney and old Warner Bros. cartoons were high quality as well). Even before I even watched the series or even knew what it actually was, I looked at Koakuma's avatar of Fluttershy and I thought the drawing style of her was rather attractive.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that I actually enjoy the show as well.
