true dat I guess>Nintendo does thing
>People don't realize thing probably isn't marketed towards them
>People get mad at thing
This is a economic alternative to buying the 3DS that is also built to be more durable so that it can be marketed towards younger children that are likely to break devices such as the 3DS, which easily break on it's hinge. It seems to be more household oriented than for personal use.
As well, it has other pros, such as the slanted touch screen so that it can be comfortably placed on a table top.
Pros:
Cons:
- Economic, only $130 compared to $180+
- Durable, unable to easily snap on the hinge, making it safer for younger audiences to use
- Slanted, allowing for easier table-top play
- More comfortable to hold, according to some views
- Better battery-life than 3DS
Please stop bashing every new product that isn't built just for you.
- No clam-shell design, so screens may scratch easier with travel (solved with carrying case)
- No 3D viewing
- Lower battery-life than 3DS XL
- Less travel-friendly

I fully agree - obviously the target demographic isn't hardcore gamers. Nintendo isn't the one in the big three that likes to cater to the high-paying market... which will lead to a gradual loss in market share as the kids gaming market becomes less profitable, especially when specializing in only that market.>Nintendo does thing
