Just finished Neon Genesis Evangelion series and the movie Neon Genesis: The end of Evangelion.

The ending of both were quite confusing to me and I had to watch a youtube video that explains the ending to actually understand it XD. Overall it was good to watch it again. I really enjoyed it. It's one of the only mecha anime that I really enjoyed (aside from gurren laggen thingy)

The original series ending is terrible. Like, really really terrible. The movie totally made up for it.

The only animes I think I've watched are Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto (all English-dubbed). They were all pretty good! I'm more of a manga reader than anime watcher though, but I do plan to watch more in the future!

EDIT: I also did quite enjoy the old Pokemon!

NARUTO FTW

OH
DAMN
GUUUUUUUUYS
So let's talk about Dangan Ronpa for a sec
Dangan Ronpa's summary is all about 15 kids come to find themselves in a "high school of mutual killing" after being accepted into "Hope's Peak Academy" a school for gifted kids. The problem is that upon entering the school they are all knocked unconscious and wake up in a classroom to an announcement by "Monobear" the school principal telling them that the only way to physically leave the school is to get away with murdering a classmate.

This anime is just so badass it mixes suspense, mystery, thriller, and maybe even a bit of horror to create a really intense scene. The characters themselves don't undergo severe development, but it's enough to be somewhat significant. It's mostly there for its really interesting and exciting mystery (and by mystery, I mean a kajillion mysteries).

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON the other hand.

If you're looking for something similar allow me to recommend Mirai Nikki:
The story centers around Amano Yukiteru (a loner who spends his free time recording events around him in a cell phone diary) who receives a "Future Diary" from his "imaginary friend" Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space. He soon learns that 11 other people have been given Future Diaries and anyone with one is forcibly entered into a battle royal style murder game competing to become the new god.

Mirai Nikki is less like Dangan Ronpa because it focuses a lot more on action rather than mystery. Take your pick :D

Just started:
(Action, Sci-fi, Seinen)
This one is interesting. It's about Tokyo after a natural disaster causes all the nuclear power plants to explode, making the whole city uninhabitable. There are certain parts of the city nobody can enter, even with a hazmat suit. Well, at least such was the case until the invented the Coppelion. These are specially designed humans who are naturally resistant to radiation. This story in particular follows our 3 protagonists as they work search and rescue within the dead city.

I'm honestly astonished some of you waited so long to pick up Attack on Titan ;)
>>>>I was pushing my friends away from "Attack on Titan" the whole time it was airing because waiting an entire week for an episode was torture. My roommate and I already made one of our friends watch it and it was hilarious with his reactions to each episode. xD

Completed "Squid Girl!" aka "Shinryaku! Ika Musume" (Loved the intro music)
Watching "Squid Girl!?" aka "Shinryaku!? Ika Musume"
Such a cute, funny, and scary show. Chizuru is so scary, actually made me shiver on one episode. Life smacked me in the face hard so it is taking me a while to complete a simple 24 episode show. D: Curse you homework!

I prefer watching once an anime has finished airing. I do not like having to wait week after week to see what happens next. I also don't care for watching multiple animes at the same time so I waited until I finished the one I was on.
