Frankly, If we seriously are debating lynch/no lynch, and if we seriously are just doing silly voting at the moment, then I must be the only one NOT taking Day 0 seriously. I never have, never will, and I have already stated why.
Up to a point, it's all just been a nice, silly time with random, joking votes, excitement (and perhaps some anxiousness) for the oncoming game days...
But now that it actually SOUNDS like people are placing votes off virtually nothing and through manipulation sound like they are serious about the ordeal... I question the sanity of many of these decisions and discussions.

I do find it funny, and strange, how people basically took hold of really silly, minute details like with digi spin-doctoring tim's wording out of nothing and people essentially just started throwing fingers around everywhere for no reason.
Personally, now that is sounds like everyone is taking them pretty seriously... It all seems pretty strange... no?
At least, I find it fairly strange how all of this basically occurred from nothing.

Like I said in Masquerade...
"...seriously. If scum can get off the hook by just saying "Oh I lied and I'm so so so sorry" then just... wow really."
In this case for Swate it's not the lying part but more of the sympathy card. The sympathy card is when you act sad or sorry to gain trust and the look of innocence in others, much like my whole entire playstyle argument against Ender in Supernatural Hotel which, as he pointed out, was a load of rubbish since he wasn't saying I was suspicious because of that \o/ Then there was Std last game too.

Mafia is partly about manipulating the emotions of others to gain trust, exactly what a sympathy card is there to do \o/ I have a strong suspicion and I'm sticking to it.

I can insult people instead if you want :p I said I felt bad for the first death, and I still say I feel bad for the first death. I mean, wtf, they don't get to do anything.
Sorry if I am a nice soul then </3  (I don't know if angel is an emote, if it is then yay)

Okay so this is an endless loop of crap.

In my opinion scum would be voting for a lynch since they definitely know that the chances of lynching town/third party are significantly higher.

Let's take this scenario:

There are 20 players in play. Let's say there's a 1:4 mafia ratio. That means that chances of lynching mafia are 1/5. 20% to be exact. this is an 80% chance for scum to lynch town.

Or let's say a 1:5 mafia ratio,
That's 4 mafia wich is ridiculous. and probably unbalanced so i'll rule that out

A 1:3 mafia ratio means a 1/6.75 chance of lynching mafia. wich is still considerably low.

Imo the people that ARE planning on lynching are more suspicious.

Also. Prizyms said this gameis different and we must take anything into account.
Maybe mafia can daytalk and know their mates?
Maybe their role PM told the mafia who their mates are?

Anyway. I am not planning on lynching someone on D0 for a mishap in wordin, Wich by the way is not a very strong argument.

So for the sake of statistics
Vote No-Lynch

Please explain to me how lynching Swate is due to with mishap in wording? <3
Or are you talking about Tim who has no votes on him?
I was talking about that i'm not planning on starting a bandwagon on Tim.

I have to go to work, I'll be here in 45 minutes and read up on the Swate situation and then give my opinion.

Nobody is even voting Tim. Dude, haven't we been over this whole "read everything first" thing? ^^

I'm fully aware that the pirates don't know who each other is, my vote was more an incentive to be assured a response from Timdood. It was also a device to open up discussion so that people aren't inclined to no-lynch straight off. We have time, lets use it.
And HOW do you know that. WHERE is that said? I have not found that written down anywhere. In the bloody masquerade, we knew the mafia right away. Until you provide evidence of how you would know, I'm writing that off as a slip.

If this game is so different and should be handled differently, why do you insist on doing a No-Lynch. Something that we normally do in a game on day 0.
"Sturgeon's law applies to mafia: 90% of common knowledge is crap" is what you're referring to i believe.
Well 90% is not a full 100. We still don't know WHAT's exactly different so i'm gonna play it safe with a no lynch. And ofcourse the aforementioned statistics.
