((I have an idea. This will be to prevent instances in the future that end like Catco's: a one-shot KO. In all major combats from now on, the combatants should play out the fight via IRC, or at least a PM on the forums. That way, the combatants can thoroughly discuss the goings of the fight, and can agree on attacks and ultimately, an outcome.))

((This probably goes without saying, but I'm going to make this post the official unofficial vote on the idea. Rate agree or disagree to cast your vote for against the idea.))

Pyro looks towards the cave and says "I had thought the Guardians would be in that cave and we'd get there in time to reach them but my fire demon.. problem and the energy it drained from me was quite exhausting and I'm assuming they've all left by now. So I guess we can explore. I've seen most of this world but who knows. There may be something new since I was here last." Pyro shrugs and looks at Ross again, wondering what he thinks.

Ross raised his eyebrows, surprised. "You've seen most of the world? Tch, a world this new will be constantly changing." Ross rose up from the frozen ground and gestured for Pyro and Fauna to follow. "Well let's go, you too, Fauna." As the trio departs, Ross thinks to himself If there's anything I'm hoping to find...It's Himinn.

Pyro starts walking beside Ross and talks to him; "Well. You only have to burn a world once to realize most of it is most likely dirt but as you said a world like this has probably changed once or twice by now. So what about that Frost Phoenix you were carrying? Why aren't we bringing him? I'd think he'd be of some help at least considering he can fly ahead."

As we start flying upwards, I cling to Airis a little harder. It's not that I fear heights, it's just that... I feel slightly uncomfortable with them. Well, a little more uncomfortable when there's nothing but a winged guy between me and a three-hundred feet drop. Besides, I feel like I'm a sandwich material, pressed between Airis and Remilia. Himinn's floating next to us, but somehow manages to maintain the same speed as Airis does.

Once we stop climbing, I feel a little more safe. At least we're not going even higher.

"Endal, do you remember anything about your past?" Airis asks me as he turns his head to face me as much as he can. Oh my Gods, watch where you're going! I cling to him a little harder again. "Please... um, c-could you watch w-where you're flying?" I ask with a very high and quiet voice. "And yes, I do know about my past. Weren't you there for the whole questions-answers round with me?" I add when my heart doesn't beat so nervously any more because Airis turned his head back. I could swear I saw him grin as he did that.

((Okay i believe people are forgetting. But Catco got 0wned by Jivvi to nerf his overpowered powers. Also: Timdood3: I hate you
Caff: Thanks for believing in me not being evil. Large postzilla will come today or thomorrow.
((On this: Catco, it won't do to 'bide time, regenerate power et cetera. The whole reason I went out of my way to roll out that whole fiasco was because you were insanely overpowered.
tl;dr - you got shut down by vote; stay down and play mortal like the rest of us))

"Endal, do you remember anything about your past?"

Himinn blinked as she looked at Endal and Airis.

... She was kind of worried about Endal.

Cyra opened her eyes, immediately regretted her decision, and closed her eyes. Slowly, she reopened her eyes, waiting for them to adjust to the light. Bright flames flicker ten feet in front of her. Flames? She approached the fire. These flames provided blazing heat. Cyra backed away, uncertain about what the flames will do. Confused, she looked around her. Nothing but the fire. Suddenly, the flames flickered and and went out, leaving behind feathers. Bird feathers? No... They seem a bit... different... yet familiar.

Feathers...

What other creatures have feathers?

She shook her head. So many things to think about. Is she in a dream? What happened? Remembering the pain, she cringed, waiting for it to happen again. Instead, nothing happened. Is she dead? Back at the Nethe-

Back? Has she ever been to the Nether?

She frowned, she's confusing herself. She has never been to the Nether, just outside a portal Remilia created...

Cyra growled in frustration. She seemed to be remembering something, but what?!

((Oh god guys I'm sorry I've been neglecting this, I'm really terrible I know but to compensate for my inactivity I'll try to give you all a postzilla about my past.

EDIT: OH GOD THIS IS SO MASSIVE))

The voices around her started to fade as she yawned... That's right, Remillia thought, she hadn't slept since the last planet. She couldn't just fall asleep while standing up though, so she drowsily just waited a little longer for the conversation to end, until magic picked her up and put her on his back. She let out another yawn and fell asleep.

As she started to slumber, she found herself in her domain in it's full glory; fire all around, massive pools of lava, dark spirits floating around, glaring at each other. She felt at home. This wasn't the current Nether; it had excessive amounts of fire and lava all around that would not normally appear in her dimension. Wait... It was only like this when...

The memory faded to black, and another one appeared. No. She didn't want to relive this! She hated this time so much, she wanted to forget it! But... some part of her clung tightly to it, waiting for the day she would be able to be free. Free from this chain of memories.

She floated above a cliff and saw herself on a high ledge overlooking a large part of the Nether, which looked just like the Nether in the previous memory except without the excessive flames, where she and two other figures sat. Her legs were dangling off the edge, and she noted how solid she looked in the Nether. This was her secret spot in a previous world. She knew it well. The other two...

Their voices were muffled, but she could recognize laughter and friendly chatter. She looked to the right of where her past self sat, and saw a familiar smiling face sitting next to her, who seemed to be teasing someone. The face was that of Aether, a small girl who looked slightly older than Remillia was ((and currently is)), but with long white hair that fell almost all the way down her back and brilliant blue eyes. She wore a sky blue dress white gradually become a darker blue near the bottom of the dress. The dress was much longer than Remillia's own dress, though it had the same white frills around the edges. Shimmering white wings hung out from Aether's back. Aether's name... no, she needed to forget it at all costs. She averted her vision, looking to her the left of where her past self sat and instead at another face, laughing and enjoying the joke.

To the left of where her past self sat was girl about the same age as Remillia with light green eyes, slightly covered by long, dark brown hair. The girl had a grey, hooded cloak with pockets, and it was a little bit too big for her at this moment. The girl, Corruption, was a little younger than her current self. Speaking of herself, she looked at her past self, laughing madly and looking embarrassed. She looked the exact same, with only one thing different. Her eyes.

They were entirely orange ((her current eyes are red that gradually turns orange near the bottom)), bright with happiness, not knowing of the future. A small part of her current self squirmed against the rest of herself at this sight, but quickly stopped, knowing it was useless. The voices started to become clearer.

"...And the best part was Remillia's expression! You should've seen the look on her face as I told her that! She looked like an octopus that was--"

"S-Shut up!"

"--stretched so much that it's eyes looked just about to pop out!"

"S-SHUT UP!"
Her past self yelled between fits of laughter, almost falling off the edge. They all took a moment, trying to stop laughing. Her current self couldn't help but smile at this memory.

After a few moments, Corruption spoke up, smiling. "You guys are actually sort of nice. Maybe... we could all be close friends? I haven't really had a friend before..." At this, Remillia's past self smiled. "Of course! We should hang out more often, but it might be a bit troublesome to enter the portal every time... hmm..." She looked like she was in thought for a moment, and then she smiled even wider. Her past self closed her eyes for a moment, and then held one of her hands out in front of her, something appearing with a burst of magic in her hand An orange and red gem. Her face turned to Corruption. "Here! It's for you. It teleports you here whenever you want, but if you use it too much it'll run out of charges!" She said cheerfully, handing it to Corruption, who looked surprised. "T-Thank you!" Corruption said, stuffing the gem inside one of her pockets.

A moment of silence passed, and then Aether decided to talk. "I need to go back to my realm. We've had a lot of guests lately, and I need to treat them all to a feast!" She said cheerfully, standing up and stretching her wings. "Awww. See ya!" Remillia said, also standing up and waving as Aether left. "I think I'll be going to take a nap now. I'm tired." Remillia says, and Corruption smiles. "Alright. Bye, then."

Remillia walks away, her smile becoming slightly troubled. What if this girl steals my best friend? What is she the Guardian of? What if Aether betrays me?Her thoughts say. In her moment of doubt, she was vulnerable. The past Guardian of the Nether didn't notice something small attach and fade into her. And one day, the Guardian would pay that ignorance.

Blood stained her clothes, hair, and face, as demons savagely attacked surprised, angelic spirits. All they needed to do was to slay the Guardian of the Aether. That was all, and she would control both the Aether and the Nether. She was now in front of that Guardian, who was yelling in surprise and betrayal. All she needed to do was kill the annoying Guardian.

A part of her was stopping her. Her daggers wouldn't move any closer.

'You are not me! Those thoughts... They were never mine!' Remillia screamed to herself in her thoughts, squirming in vain to regain control. Suddenly, she felt excruciating pain in her head, and with a shriek, fell unconscious, but not before hearing one thing.

'You're more bothersome than I thought.'

Remillia woke with a start, her face feeling wet with tears. She couldn't really call herself Remillia, as she was only controlling the being who was Remillia. She had been so heartless back when. Why had she done that to this peaceful being? Why had she lost herself in a lust for power? She silently cried, lost in her thoughts.

'Don't worry. I know you're sorry.'

She stopped crying, and a smile brightened her face.

'Thanks, Remillia.'

((Maybe next time, instead of having one person use an unavoidable attack that can't be blocked which also deals an instant-KO at the end to "Nerf" whatever it is that is over powered, which by the way, the method described above is lazy and only really works on a character who otherwise cannot be beaten in combat, which isn't what makes my character 'over powered', why not give my character cause to prove that he has limits by leading him to some sort of puzzle or challenge that he cannot entirely complete with the current abilities he is known to have?

Firstly, this would better pinpoint specifically what makes him over powered.

Secondly, this would allow for a better solution that isn't as lazy as an attack that simply KO's people, and would actually solve the problem as opposed to simply leaving them dead or unconscious.

Thirdly, if the whole reason Catcocomics the frost phoenix is over powered is because he can't be killed by any means, I could've sworn that this was a disadvantage and that despite this, Catcocomics is still mortal and will immediately die when he naturally reaches the age of 1000 years, not to mention that he's been down for over 10 pages now.

I'm willing to prove Catcocomics' limits, I just need the right problems to do so. So far, Catcocomics has only really faced the few problems such as creating a light source and preventing the guardian of light from being corrupted/slain.
As we should all remember at the beginning, Catcocomics almost collapsed to physical exhaustion just from pushing a small boulder of ice out of the crater, something that mere humans could potentially do with ease.
Would this not show a limit to Catcocomics' physical strength or endurance?

Lastly, I know that I said that Catcocomics is 'good at swordplay'. This does not automatically make him some sort of master swordsman who can beat any one in a sword duel.
He simply has some experience wielding a sword and knows enough how to use one for practical use in combat, so don't call him a master at sword play.
So do us all a favor, everyone, and instead of just getting some one to instantly KO a powerful character, give them a chance to prove that they have limits.))

((Catco, drop it. It's already happened, and it was far too long ago to change. And none of the things you said were balanced were the things that were over powered. You over powered-ness came from your ability to just go "Oh, this happened? Let me just ...uhm... yeah, let's just make a huge beam of light \o/ " ...ok, bad example, but your powers were far more powerful than a Guardian's, and that's not ok. I'm open to the Phoenix leaving and you becoming a Guardian....I mean, Guardians are seemingly in short supply.

Speaking of which, @Jenben101 have you come to a decision on whether you want to join? I sent you a PM asking you to join, but I think I sent it to the wrong person :c

We're missing 3-4 vital Guardians yet: Flora/Nature/Aether (Purification?) So yeah . -. ))

((I would like to also address how @Catcocomics views this Roleplay game. Catcocomics, do you see this as a Roleplay Story or a Dungeons and Dragon's Game? To clarify, a Roleplay Story (coined term atm) would be comparable to a story being told in which each individual character could have their posts/events combined into a "journal" or a "short story" itself. Most qualitative language is used here. A Dungeons and Dragon's Game is where character's are given stats and quantitative specifics on how to defeat monsters and other characters.))

((What I'm getting at: the Roleplay that most of everyone here is a qualitative Roleplay, not quantitative. How you seem to be translating this is that each character's abilities are written in stone and can be measured when that is not how anyone here is currently intending to roleplay as. We're talking about creating a story not playing a game. [[if that makes sense]] I'm not saying specifics are not important but this Roleplay we're trying to keep to par with basic Roleplay rules.))

((I'm just saying that it's possible you're looking at this Roleplay in a form that Blocktopia is not ready for. Tbh, this is probably one of the few Roleplays of Blocktopia that has had recieved a positive reaction and people very much willingly wanting to create a story. Do you see the difference between the qualitative roleplaying and the quantitative roleplaying?))

((Double post because really big activity right now: how I think the answer to Guardians not being here is that simply that aspect doesn't exist in this world. :b That might be hard to understand really but allow your sense of disbelief into the fact that we're creating a new world and it's possible that some things that are in "our real world [[earth]]" will not be in this world, the planet we're creating))

((It could be a potential plot dilemna for the Guardians and the future inhabitants of the planet [[or they just adapt]]. Either who, I'm down for the solution of Guardians missing or allowing people to play multiple characters [[when we're ready]]. Multiple character's can greatly improve people's activity to a Roleplay but it can become easy to forget charcters/subplots going on. Otherwise, I'm all for it but we should be careful. U: ))

((I'd like to say that I understand the story part, but I wasn't introduced to actual RP until a couple of years ago, yet I have seen RPGs for a very long time, so I naturally understand the one I'm more familiar with.
So if this is about making a good story... I'm not sure how I'm supposed to reply any more, partly because I associate "over powered" with statistics and even count it as some measurable thing, and I only really understand that a good story has to make sense and be written well... so what do I do now?
Do I just go and say "You know what, screw everything I said earlier and just give my character an early death, despite the fact that he has over 800 years to go" and completely end any potential for his use in potential games or other RPs later on?
Do I have my character immediately wake up and fly away, neglecting his personality and condition?
Unless you tell me what I need to know to better understand specifically what the problem is, I'm just going to leave my character as he is until either the sky clears or the planet explodes.))
