If the mafia had an investigative role, wouldn't it be smart for that person to claim cop? That way, they're basically immune to death. Mafia wouldn't kill their buddy, I'd assume, and town and Vig aren't stupid enough to lynch/nightkill a basically confirmed "cop." And if town had a cop as well... That would make everything confusing. >.> No one would know who was right but the mafia *shrug*
So we're all pretty much in agreement about the roles? OK? OK.
..yeah, timezones suck ;-;

... I feel like if there was a cop, they've had plenty of time to come out with it, for everyone involved. >, <

We should move on from the cop theory, and try something else, like, uh...

... Well, I guess we should get everyone's insight on this question, since it's been asked but not everyone has said something about it.

Do you think we should go for a lynch, or a no-lynch?

But if the cop would come out, the cop would be killed tonight and won't have a second investigation. Instead the cop should just stay quiet.

Why does it seem unlikely? I'm not saying there is definitely 2 mafia, not three, but I'm also not saying that there is definitely 3 mafia, but you are.

I already went through this and you never did answer it. Where on Earth do you take the assumption that there absolutely has to be a cop in this game? It's a possibility, of course, but it's not a certainty, is it?

But we'd at least have one investigation, assuming there even is a cop. IF there is a cop and IF s/he should remain silent, then yes, perhaps we would have two investigations, but you also risk getting the cop killed and then we'd have no investigations at all. You're betting it all on the cop, Notty. You shouldn't.

Obviously you're going to say that this is the worst reasoning ever but both because 3 seems like the likely number for Mafia in a game with 10 people and also flavour text singled out 3 people.

Because if there are 3 mafia, and I think there are, then it is a MyLo.

I don't like the idea of having a certain 'this is this' in a closed setup. Yes, I've said what I believe it is, but I'm open to change or adjustments depending on what happens.
I don't think we should ever settle on a solid idea unless there is foolproof evidence. It's a closed setup, we can't just accept something to be what it possibly is or isn't.

How about this. We have a "vote" on what to do today. If the majority of the people want a lynch then instead of arguing why to Lynch/No Lynch we could get going on who to lynch and why. I mean there is no point in me arguing why we should No Lynch if the majority wants a lynch.

i've tried to rewrite a post 5 times by now but it all comes out as garbage and me saying we're screwed.
since i'm fairly confident town is screwed by this point.
but one thing is haunting me.
gmk said that we're in for a treat in this set up in the signups
and i think kake has fine tastes.
perhaps all is not lost.
or maybe that all centred around the DOC AND THE VIGI NOT BEING KILLED NIGHT 1 ASDNFGRN.
