I am lame and basically it comes down to I had an account named catwings11 I was gonna play minecraft classic with a boy I liked. catwings11 was embarassing. So Dark- like the dark of night and stuff and then Hender is supposed to be like holder. So like I hold darkness, I'm cool, I'm mysterious yadayadayada.

oh and for my skin i always used to have dark skins with black hair and like white skin so I was like a vampire. (i had it irl too but yeah)
and then I watched adventure time made a princess bubblegum skin, I love pink and now every skin I own is princess bubblegum in some form if its christmas, halloween (space thingy right now to twin with IQ) and uh yeah princessbubblegum away

Not quite sure how I came up with the Rocketeer as a skin. I really wasn't an avid fan of the movie/comic. I guess during the ol' classic lava days, one of the many things that showed itself consistently from trolls/griefers/etc was the swastika. For those of you that remember, their excuse was, "oh this isn't referring to Naziism, it's the Buddhist sign for peace." blah blah blah. The Rocketeer ends up battling the Nazis in the movie/comics so that may have drawn me to it.
I created the skin. First stage, I used for a long time through my HC days. Looks about the same, except the helmet. The old helmet was more of an aged bronze look with far less detail. People called it the pumpkin head. The second iteration was done when I returned from a long break. Found another skin that had a better looking helmet so I essentially stole that one, after some slight modifications.
1. I came up with the skin 6 months before "Rocketeer" from F.E.M. came out, so no, I didn't get inspiration from that... song.
2. My helmet is not a pumpkin. Pumpkins in minecraft came out 5 months after my skin.
3. I am not pantless. My character wore lightly tan khaki pants and that didn't translate well to my skin.

I'm just gonna drop a knowledge for anyone who may be unaware.
The Buddhist Swastika and the Nazi Version (known as Hakenkreuz, a German translation of the word) are visually different.
The Swastika is a vertical line and a horizontal line with the 'tails' facing the counterclockwise direction.
The Hakenkreuz is two diagonal lines with the 'tails' facing the clockwise direction.
