((In much stuffs (like in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past), one or more characters need special book so they can understand other language.
In this case, we have a language, which only exists as a "written" language, which I basically the language of the stars (and is how phoenixes and stars communicate, since sound really can't travel in vacuum).
I did get confused for a bit because, despite seeing the post where Airis remembers the rune stone he got, something happened at the time I read that that caused my to pretty much forget that happened.
I probably went and read it, but had half a page more to read to catch up with the story.
But anyways, on to the important stuff, we need to go and, yeah, resume the RP... you know... so we can get on with the plot we have so far... and in this special case, let's have someone do a flash-back post-thing to explain kind of what they (singular or plural) did to make one rune stone act as a 2-way com-unit with the other rune stone.

Guardians of Magic and Light
"Are you Light?"
"No no no! I am still Ζωή! My vocal cords just went through puberty in the last five bleeding seconds." He says, his voice dripping with sarcasm, followed by a sigh. "Yes, I am light."
"Gee, sorry for verifying the guy on the other side of a bloody stone," Endal replies, annoyed by this first impression of the Guardian of Light of this world. "I was told you're under the influence of magic taint?" the wizard asks with a cold tone.
"Apparently so, yes. Why would you be concerned?" he asks him, slightly rolling his eyes, before focusing on the other boy on the floor.
"Because I'm the Guardian of Magic, and, believe it or not, it'd be nice to have a world that lasts for a change. Only, that's not going too well with some Guardians being murdered and others, such as you, running around in a corrupt state."
"I can fix the taint, I just need to know a little about it and then your location, of course."
"Here's my location: We're. surrounded by fucking mud! Hope that gives you a general sense of direction." he says, irritation rising again. "Still not sure if I'm the guy you really want to have de-corrupted too, err, let's just say there's two of me."
Well, wasn't that helpful. At least I can now exclude the cave, river, crater and other such landmarks from the list of possibilities. "So, what? You're saying you don't want to get rid of the taint?" the mage asks, trying to suppress the urge to throw the stone as far as possible.
"...You shouldn't be asking me." he says, as he throws the stone at the other boy on the floor, that looks nearly identical to him. Turns around, and walks away.

The boy moans in pain, as the rock hits his head, worsening his headache. "W-What the heck?"
"What happened?" Endal feels as if the person talking through the runestone has changed, although the voice is identical.
"W-What? Who's there?" the boy yells, all he can see is a rock, the girl sitting on the floor, and the one-armed boy walking in opposite direction of him. "Who said that?"
"Light? Is everything okay?"
'Light'... The name echoes through his head, it sounds familiar... Then it came to him again: "Y-Yes, Apart from the horrible fucking concussion, yeah."
'I think I'm going insane, there's a fucking rock talking to me...' he thinks to himself.
The Guardian of Magic blinks in confusion towards the rock. "Concussion? What the hell happened there? You were fine just a minute ago!"
"W-What? I've been unconscious... I think... All I remember is this fuck that looked like me hitting me in the head..." he says, 'Wait, were you talking to him before?"
"...that looked like me..." The pieces fall together in Endal's head. There isn't one Light... there's two of them. And the one that is significantly more psycho has just done a 360 and walked away. "Shit." After a short pause, the Guardian asks again: "Light, are you tainted?"
"...I guess so, yeah..." he says, grabbing the rock, as he stands up.
"Okay, listen, I'm the Guardian of Magic and I can probably cure you of the taint, but I need to know everything about it that you know. Describe it to me or something," the wizard requests the boy on the other side. "And if you can tell me anything about your location other than that you're somewhere in the wasteland, that'd be great, too."
He looks around "Well, can't really say much about it. I guess I can feel a /small/ breeze westwards. But ehr, that can mean anything. And the taint, yeah... Oh, the taint! Err, well, it happens when I use my magic, my right eye turns black. And I get this overpowering nauseus feeling... And... Well, I feel like... Killing people..." he answers, gulping at his last sentence.
He feels like killing people when under the influence of the taint. Maybe he's the one that killed the Guardian in the cave? Endal feels anger building up inside him, but pushes it down as another thought enters his mind. Then again, he's not constantly under the effects of the taint, so he's fighting it pretty hard. "You wouldn't happen to know where the Guardian of Darkness might be, would you?"
"Darkness? No, the bitch keeps popping up like an evil jack-in-the-box, kills someone, and takes off again to have one of his lengthy coffee breaks in the green room. So, no... I don't really know."
"What? Oh, fuck, if he's tainted too, then we're in for a ride." The mage stays silent for a moment, then tells Light: "Uh, okay, we're coming to get you, Light. Hopefully we can reverse the taint before it takes complete hold of you. Just... try to stay in one spot so we'd have a better chance at finding you and, uh... try not to use your magic, it'll probably be harder to shake the taint off again every time it manifests itself."
"Wait! I heard Alouette was nearby... Is she okay?" he asks him, worry evident in his voice.
"She's here, yes, but I wouldn't be too sure about the "okay" part." Endal notices the nervousness of Light's voice when he asks about Alouette. These two really seem to care for each other... Maybe I can use this to our advantage. "She's injured, badly. I'll hand the stone over to her now, but if you can convince her to not push herself too far, that'd be great."
"She's too bloody stubborn for anything I say to have any effect," he adds, with his voice lowered so the injured Guardian couldn't hear him.
"W-What? Injured? What happened?" Light yells into the stone, but the mage's voice has already stopped talking as the stone is being handed to Alouette.

((Sorry that it took so long, but I was pretty sure that the whole raw transcript had been lost for a moment there. My tablet, where I saved the IRC logs, decided to get stuck on recovery mode and no matter what I tried, it wouldn't break the loop. I even tried a factory reset, in case something had glitched or in case a virus or something had somehow gotten through, but to no avail. Guess it's a hardware issue, so I'll probably have to take it to a guy. Luckily, I had for whatever the reason, already begun to post it the day before, so the forums had saved it to my account or something, so, yay, it wasn't lost.))

Topaz continued to walk along. She felt as though she had been walking forever, though when Topaz looked back, the burnt patch was a few yards away. Continuing to walk forward, Topaz kept trying to bring back any memories she thought she had, though she had a feeling it wouldn't do much. Looking ahead, the fiery haired girl squinted, seeing figures in the distance, 'Other people...? On this... mud ball?' the thought. Slowly walking toward the pair, Topaz mustered up courage she didn't have. "Hello?!" she called out, hoping to grab the attention of the two.
