So as far as the explanation for why I visited Ooglie on night one. Without going into full details of what my role is (for once it is out I will be killed) I can assure you that I am town sided. If I was the remaining mafia member or the serial killer Ooglie would be dead. However that being said, due to my visiting him it is entirely possible that he was attacked but it did not go through.
Well, there we go, 3rd (or at least, second if you don't count tim) investigation confirmed.
Thanks for the response Dess!
Hopefully that at least solidifies the fact that I at least have access to investigations from other people, and at least proves I'm apart of some group, whether that be in the Mafia or whatever group, or the Security group as I'm claiming to be.
Also jk I noticed you didn't respond to a part of my post - why did you name the group you have yourself? Does it not have its own name like the board of directors does?
I--- don't quite understand the question? x)
Do you mean like... me naming the group the "Security Council" in my reveal post?
If that's what you mean then the answer is simple:
...
Doesn't the word "council" just seem cool? It feels more epic and important and rolls off the tongue in a satisfying way.
It's like how in Bloody Masquerade there was the group called the
Voltari Tribunal. Ooo that's such an awesome word.
Tribunal.
Hey, look, I'm a fan of good writing. It's sorta what I'm good at and I love reading different words for things.
I mean, sure our group I guess has an actual name. "Security Guard Night Chat." But that's so...
boring for a role reveal specifically, and isn't really a "group name" either.
I wanted to spice things up, and being a "council" of security guards has almost the same connotation: we're an assembly of people who meet regularly.
It's also easier for future reference, or at least, I think so.
If that doesn't answer your question, let me know!
...
And honestly, we don't even know
what the "Board of Directors" are.
A message over the building-wide intercom wakes everyone that was sleeping up.
"Hello, this is your town-sided Board of Directors speaking. We intended to broadcast a message revealing our existence to you all last night however were too slow. Tomorrow is a big day - anyone with information that could be of importance please come forward and ensure you choose any actions wisely tonight.
Groups of evil may exist as a counter to us - if anyone has received any broadcasts previously claiming to be us they have lied.
Sleep well."
I mean,
do they even exist? Why haven't they said anything today, especially since another group (the Security Council) has come forward as well. It almost feels like since all the focus is on the group I'm in, they want their group to sort of fall back and not be remembered as much since it's not in the limelight.
Are they even town-sided? I personally find it suspicious that they HAVE to say that their "town-sided" in there opening statement.
Why were they "too slow" yesterday? (unless that just means their members were busy IRL, then that makes sense and is totally understandable).
And why is today of all days a "big day?" What's so important about today.
And what "groups of evil" are a "counter" to them specifically? And why does that matter to us if they aren't going to present themselves; unlike the Security council with our investigations we don't have any reason to believe they're real/trustworthy.
(and when I say "real" I mean just not a singular person making messages like the Protester of last game).
Has there been any broadcasts claiming to have been them?
I don't know, it's just all so...
vague.
I just don't see a reason to believe them at the current moment.
...I mean, are you not apart of the Board? Wouldn't that make sense for an official?

Especially for one being so corrupt, hehe.
(I say this half-jokingly)
