What how would she know the answer to that?Did ltin visit anyone AHH SO MANY QUESTIONS but go sleep!
Because she tracked him n1?how would she know that
i dont think thats tracking in the right context?Did ltin visit anyone AHH SO MANY QUESTIONS but go sleep!
No fal said checking is a different thing altogetheri dont think thats tracking in the right context?
i think tracking in zombie hunter role just means following them to see if theyre a zombie or not (and then check next night for results)
but yeah that seems awfully underpowered to have a role that needs 2 nights to check if a person is a zombie at one point in the game
Hunt= stalk
Kill= Kill
Check to see if they're a zombie= exactly what it says on the tin [I guess I get a sample of their blood while I stalk them?]
but she said she planned on doing something to mars the next night after she stalked ltin the first nighthow i understood her explanation: she needs to stalk, as in, just visit without doing anything, her target one night, and then on the next she can either kill them or check them for zombie
no as in like this scenarioNo fal said checking is a different thing altogether
yeah, she planned on stalking mars on night two to put him in the possible targets list?but she said she planned on doing something to mars the next night after she stalked ltin the first night
And voting dess, who we assume to be mafia, is a better option? We don't /know/ dess is mafia either, yet you're willing to vote on him based on your suspicions. And he's mafia, which is the lesser threat right now.
Yeah that's what I meant, I just worded it wrong.Almost a whole page of everyone raguing over what Fali's role does?
Instead of waiting for her to wake up?
Geez, guys, relax.
Err...Given the context....I'm going to assume that you meant "And you/we assume he's mafia."
I'm not going to go nuts over this, because that would be dumb, but it'd feel wrong for me to just not mention it. So, is this what you meant and what was (/do you have) your reason for phrasing it that way?
Does this post not stick out to anyone else as just so...off? I don't know it just seems like a quick dismissal like a fast movement to swat a fly saying "get off me" (I swear I'm not on drugs). Okay that doesn't explain it well but basically it doesn't feel like Ender. Usually I like to think of Ender's posts as all being super reasonable and thought out but here he just defends and argument against him by saying someone's "overexcited" which I don't think makes any sense and it just...really seems off. And bringing up the inn theory feels like a "look guys he was wrong before he's wrong about this" but in a less townie way. I don't know maybe I'm just off my rocker but just thought I'd mention it. Especially since fali is zombie hunter a part of me wants to vote Ender but a part of me knows it'll probably lead to my own demise plus it seems unfair to try to lynch Ender based on vibes and how I read his posts but if nothing else comes up I might just place my vote on him.i think you might just be overexcited at the prospect of finding a scum, like you were with the whole inn theory
throwing your ideas and feelings out there is good and all, but it's not always a bad idea to take a step back first and look things over, to try and attack your own arguments to expose the flaws in them
I don't think he was giving advice, he was defending himself by things that I don't think make sense. He said/implied my reason for suspicion on him was being blinded by excitement of finding a scum, which doesn't make sense because the reason I thought he was scum was because of my reason for suspicion. The reason for suspicion came first before I believed he was scum obviously, so how could I be making up reasons because of excitement of finding scum if I didn't think he was scum until my reasons happened? Also my argument was a vibe yet he told me to make sure my arguments were solid and that I expose the flaws in them, but if it's a vibe then surely there can be no flaws. I think it was just an attempt at deflecting suspicion by acting as if I didn't know what I was talking about.Um, Infy? ... I'm pretty sure that's just Endy trying to give advice; it's not just me bandwagoning this time, I swear. Your reasoning while you were questioning me last night felt increasingly bizzare; I do enjoy roleplaying a bit too much at times and would want to act out a role I'm given, so I stomped on my confusion at first, but... Yeah. I honestly see where Endy's coming from. You can take my word with a grain of salt, of course- who knows? It could just be the frustration of being accused, for all I know. But, uh... If I were to go on gut instinct, not trying to check and re-check if my judgement's being influenced by bias or if I'm really being a hypocrite in some way... Your arguments are sounding unreasonable, to my ears. Not at first, but after a while, no matter which way I look at it, your questions felt weird.
Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I'm obviously unsure as to if this is what is happened, and don't get me wrong, I have thought of this possibility (it also happened with Jkangaroo last game where everything he said I saw under suspicious lens and he ended up being the cop), but since if this is happening it's subconscious and out of my control I can't help that. But I don't think it is that - I think you're just acting very slightly off in the tone of your posts and I can't explain how or why but it's something I can't help but think. Whether this is wrong or not or if this is caused by my initial suspicion carrying over or not I can't say but since I've considered the possibility of this and still find you suspicious after reading with fresh eyes, I'm still carrying on with my gut.This is getting increasingly frustrating.
To clear up a misunderstanding first: when I said that you were probably just overexcited at the prospect of finding scum, I didn't mean that you invented the suspicion out of thin air. What I meant was that you noticed that I didn't bother with proper grammar in the post where I explained why I was going after another possible mafioso. You thought it was strange because you didn't remember or know that I simply tend to switch around my typing a bit, and so you started to have suspicions that I did it on purpose, to seem relaxed, in order to diffuse the suspicions. Once you had those suspicions, everything I said started to carry those suspicions in your eyes, because that was the only angle from which you were looking at things. That's what I think happened and that's why I think you're so hung up on me right now, because I'm stuck in a catch-22 where no matter what I say or how I say it or if I say it at all, you're still going to take it as further proof of my guilt.
I've never expected you to defend yourself from my vibes - how could you? I don't think I've once even implied that I required a defence. I'm not after a defence, I'm just spitting out my thoughts, something you yourself hoped for people to do previously in the game:Now, when it comes to the actual suspicion itself, then I'm sorry, but you don't have an argument I can respond to. Your reason for suspecting me is that I changed tone to something completely unlike me when I was suspected, right? Leaving aside my own opinion of that not being so at all, you can't expect me to write an essay detailing how I'm innocent when the only things brought against me are the fact that I'm trying to lynch someone who I think is mafia and the fact that you have vibes against me. The first part is easily explained, which is why I didn't bother with a thousand-word analysis and didn't really feel threatened by it, and the second part is so subjective and unexplainable that there is nothing reasonable and thought out for me to respond with. If you expect me to post a full analysis of why and how your vibes are wrong, then you're going to be sorely disappointed, because in order to be able to refute the logic used against me, there has to be logic being used against me in the first place.
I've done what I have been able to do, which is to offer my side of the story. Unfortunately, I am unable to make you consider that your vibes may actually not be true - that burden lies only on you.
Why does me being apologetic in advance of voting you make me suspicious? And now you're putting words in my mouth, I've never said I think you're a superhuman logic machine nor have I implied it (or meant to), and I have never based any of my suspicions based on my opinion of you being a "superhuman logic machine" so I'm very confused as to where this and your previous points about me expecting an argument came from.Despite some people probably viewing it as an omgus, I also want to raise an eyebrow at how apologetic in advance you suddenly are for voting me, just after Fali voices her disbelief in your suspicion against me and Tim is asking questions about a possible mafioso slip, all while you're ignoring a possible mafia member in favour of lynching someone who you admit has been actively helping town, but think might be a zombie based on nothing but your vibes and the fact that you seem to think I'm a superhuman logic machine. Friendly tip: I'm not.
