To test your long term memory basically do something you did long ago. Basically you should make that list of players again but solely from memory.

Oh and it better not be in any weird order or I'll get ya

Here do this test

1, 5, 9, 2, 5, 7, 1, 9, 2, 4, 6, 2, 6, 8, 2, 1, 3

Spend 30 seconds revising them, then cover them, then try to repeat them in same order, see how many you get

Then do the same thing but think of a different way of remembering them, like using a song or images or some other deeper way of processing - writing them down helps too since motor responses increase memory recall. Do it before bed too. Then sleep. Then wake up. Then try to recall the numbers in the order.

1st version tests STM, 2nd tests LTM

But obviously depending on the type of processing you use with the 2nd one it might show you to be worse/better at LTM than you usually are
