I've encountered this behavior in another game with him (he was town), so following people might be his playstyle

I voted him because he did not post a single message this game, which is running over 2 days already. where as ernie did post something.

I think you might have misinterpreted this post maybe?

I'm saying that there's at least a small chance that Fantomes town. If he were, he would most likely try to be cooperative in lynches. Hoeever, Ernie has no chance of that if he's inactive.

Read the "Ernie has no chance of that" in terms of 'that' being "likely try to be cooperative in lynches", that's how I interpret it at least

Not when he was being lynched no, but I think molten's basically saying that if we have two people and both could be town or mafia then he'd go for the inactive since even if they're town they can never be helpful, but at least fantome can be helpful and help lynch people as a townie if he is town, and I think that's what he meant by cooperative

I probably should let him explain it himself but I feel like you two might keep missing each other's points and I don't think I'm giving him an answer to give to you since he already basically said it here, where he doesn't seem to be talking about being cooperative in his own lynch:

If Fantome was actually town, he has proven active enough to help in future lynches.
Ernie's inactivity could be a trend, and even if Ernie was town, it's possible he wouldn't help in future lynches.

Is inactivity sufficient to warrant a vote from you onto Okx and later Ernie but not enough to warrant your vote on Les (Fantome?)

I vote to try to get reads on people, and get Ernie to be active in this chat. If he responds anywhere near an appropriate answer, I'm removing the vote.

Anything is sufficient for me to vote on them to try to get a read, however I'm hesitant on a complete lynch.

I'm rethinking fantome again now since his push on shadow felt too eager to fit into my theory about being burnt by the last game, so if that's not true then why was he so uncharacteristically passive earlier on

Speaking of which I can see why he did push on shadow but I don't find it particularly compelling myself and can see where shadow would have been coming from as town there too since voting okx is a very clear 'vote the inactive' movement but with voting ernie, who had already spoken, I can see why that might be less clear that it's an inactive vote, and him repeating what someone else isn't something I think makes him scummy necessarily
